Ai+ made its debut in mid-2025 with its first two models — the Ai+ Pulse and Ai+ Nova, in its home market of India. A few months later, the brand entered Nepal and quickly turned heads with its affordable pricing.
In fact, we even awarded Ai+ Pulse the “Wallet Saver” category of the TechLekh Awards 2025. The Ai+ Nova wasn’t far behind either, consistently ranking among the top picks across multiple price segments.

However, being new entrants, Ai+ was hit hard by fluctuating memory prices. As a result, the brand has revised its pricing so many times that the original launch price now feels like a distant, hazy memory.
Most recently, the Ai+ Pulse has received yet another price hike, while the Ai+ Nova remains unchanged.
What is the Price of the Ai+ Pulse and Nova 5G in Nepal?
The Ai+ Pulse and Nova 5G originally launched at Rs. 8,999 (4/64GB) and Rs. 13,999 (6/128GB), respectively, which was amazing pricing for the specs they offered. As I mentioned earlier, the phones have gotten multiple price bumps over time.
And as of April 2026, the Ai+ Pulse price in Nepal is Rs. 14,999 and Rs. 16,499 for the 4/64GB and 6/128GB variants, respectively. As it stands, Ai+ Pulse has gone up by almost 67% from its original price.
Meanwhile, the pricier model in Ai+’s catalogue retains its price after the latest hike. Hence, the Ai+ Nova 5G price in Nepal is still Rs. 18,499 (6/128GB) and Rs. 21,999 (8/128GB).
These phones are available for purchase at all authorized stores across the country.
Both the Ai+ Pulse and Nova were amazing phones for their original launch prices. However, with the recent price increase, their charm has surely dwindled.
But you can check out what our thoughts on Ai+ Pulse were right before the latest price bump right here:

Ai+ Pulse and Nova 5G Overview
Design

Both Ai+ phones follow a design approach that feels a bit different from what we usually see in the budget segment. Sure, the all-plastic build reminds you of their price point, but it’s the camera module where things get interesting.
The Ai+ Pulse stands out with a “squaricle” camera module, slightly angled at the bottom right. The back panel is flat with a matte finish, complemented by clean diagonal lines that give it a more refined look.

The Ai+ Nova, on the other hand, takes a more familiar route with a square camera module. But it adds a bold twist, a thick strip running across the top of the rear panel. While it might look like glass at first glance, it’s actually plastic.
Flip to the front, and the budget DNA shows again: chunky bezels and a classic waterdrop notch. The sides carry the usual volume rocker and power button, while the bottom houses a USB-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a single speaker.
Display
Both phones sport the same 6.74-inch display. They also share an HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) resolution, which is fairly standard for devices in this price segment.

Where they differ is in the panel technology. The Pulse comes with a TFT IPS panel, which struggles with viewing angles. The Nova, meanwhile, opts for a more conventional LCD panel. In addition, the Pulse has a 90Hz refresh rate, while the Nova goes up to 120Hz.
Brightness, however, is a weak point on both. With a typical brightness of 450 nits (and dipping to around 400 nits at minimum), outdoor visibility takes a noticeable hit; using these phones under direct sunlight won’t be a pleasant experience.

Hardware
The Ai+ Pulse runs on the popular UNISOC T615, the same chip powering the Redmi A5, another strong entry-level contender. As for the trims, we get 4GB or 6GB memory with 64GB or 128GB storage, paired in the respective order.
The Ai+ Nova steps things up with the UNISOC T8200, essentially a rebranded T765. Being a 5G chip, it made the Ai+ Nova the most affordable 5G phone in Nepal. It still holds that title — but now by just Rs. 500, a far cry from the roughly Rs. 5,000 lead it once had over its nearest rivals, like the HMD Crest and the Moto G35.
So, performance-wise, Ai+ Nova still does not feel out of place. However, the rest of its specs don’t quite line up with the competition. But the dedicated microSD card slot with support for up to 1TB that we get on both phones is pretty sweet and always welcome.
Camera
As budget phones, the camera setup is nothing out of the ordinary. Both devices feature a 50MP main sensor with EIS, and that’s pretty much the highlight. On the front, you get a modest 5MP selfie camera.
Video recording, however, sets the two apart. The Pulse maxes out at 1080p@30fps on both front and rear cameras. The Nova, on the other hand, steps up with 4K@30fps video recording support on both ends, a rare perk in this segment.

Battery and OS
Both the Pulse and Nova pack a 5,000mAh battery, which is very standard. The 10W charging, however, is absolutely ancient. It is passable for Ai+ Pulse, but for Nova, it is a major disadvantage, as all its competition offer 15+ watts of charging.
On the software side, the phones ship with the privacy-focused NxtQuantum OS, based on Android 15 and powered by nxtQ. However, no future updates are promised.
Also, Ai+ has been making big claims about software, promising locally trained AI engines, zero bloatware, and no unnecessary tracking. They also go on and on about data security and storing data in India.
But big Indian tech YouTubers like Gyan Therapy and TechWiser have labelled it as “false marketing” and called the brand out, so nothing to be excited about those claims, I suppose.
Ai+ Pulse and Nova 5G Price in Nepal and Availability
The Ai+ Pulse price in Nepal is Rs. 14,999 for the 4/64GB variant and Rs. 16,499 for the 6/128GB model. Similarly, the Ai+ Nova 5G price in Nepal is set at Rs. 18,499 for the 6/128GB and Rs. 21,999 for the 8/128GB variant.
Both phones are available for purchase at authorized stores across the country.

| Pulse [6/128GB] | |

Both Ai+ phones — the Pulse and Nova — excel in some areas while falling short in others. A clear strength for both is the processor, which delivers solid performance for the segment. On the flip side, the display quality and brightness are underwhelming, and charging speeds remain quite slow.
However, with prices rising significantly in recent months, the brand has lost much of the competitive edge it once had. In fact, Ai+ now comes across as one of the more volatile brands in terms of pricing. And with reviewers in its home market already raising concerns, it does make you wonder how much confidence Nepali buyers can place in the brand.
