vivo Y1s with 3GB RAM and Fingerprint Sensor Now Available in Nepal

vivo has launched the new variant of vivo Y1s with 3GB RAM and a fingerprint sensor in Nepal. Previously, only the 2GB variant with no fingerprint sensor was available in the country.

vivo Y1s price in Nepal is Rs. 13,599 for the 2/32GB variant and Rs. 14,999 for 3/32GB variant. It is available throughout Nepal at various outlets and vivo exclusive stores.

vivo Y1s is an entry-level budget phone from vivo that is targeted towards youths. So, let’s see what it has to offer.

Vivo Y1s Overview

Design

vivo Y1s comes in a slim body that measures 8.28mm thick and weighs just 161g. The rear panel has a single camera and the new variant has a fingerprint sensor on the back.

On the front, it has a teardrop notch with thick bezels all around. Furthermore, it comes in two colors: Aurora Blue and Olive Black.

Display

Upfront, it is rocking a 6.22 HD+ FullView display. It is an LCD panel with a screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels.

vivo mentions 88.6% screen-to-body ratio and 270 PPI pixel density.

Hardware

Inside, it is powered by a Mediatek MT6765 Helio P35 (12nm) chipset paired with 2/3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.

Helio P35 has an Octa-core (4×2.35 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A53) CPU and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It is the same chipset used on the vivo Y12s.

Likewise, vivo Y1s also supports Bluetooth 5.0 and 4G connectivity.

Camera

In terms of camera, Y1s has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.

The rear camera can capture videos up to 1080p 30fps.

Battery & OS

Y1s is powered by a 4030mAh battery which should last for a day at least. Also, it does not have any kind of fast charging support.

For OS, it runs on Fucntouch OS 10.5 on top of Android 10. And, it also comes with software features like Dynamic effects and Dark mode.

Y1s is a decent budget phone with decent hardware. The 2GB RAM version doesn’t include a fingerprint sensor which is a slight disappointment. Else, it is a good entry-level phone.

It will compete with phones like Redmi 9A and Realme C11 2021.
