Greaves Cotton Nepal, the authorized distributors of Ampere Electric Vehicles in Nepal, has announced the launch of their first dealership in Nepal. Additionally, Ampere e-Scooters will be available in five different models: Reo Elite, V-48 LA, Magnus 60, Reo LA, and REO Li.
However, Ampere’s official debut will start after lockdown with two models: Ampere Zeal and Ampere Reo.
As for the pricing, nothing is official yet. However, Ampere Zeal price in Nepal is expected to be more than Rs. 2.00 Lakhs. Likewise, Ampere Reo price in Nepal is expected to be more than Rs. 1.00 Lakhs. Both e-Scooters come with Li-Ion batteries and a value-for-money proposition.

Currently, Ampere is offering online bookings. However, the delivery starts after the lockdown.
Ampere Zeal
Ampere Zeal is the best Ampere has to offer!
It is powered by a 1200W BLDC motor along with best-in-class 60V, 30Ah Li-Ion battery. Zeal can do 0-50kmpl in just 12 seconds.
Moreover, it comes with a range of 70-75km with speed up to 55kmph. As for the charging time, it takes an average of 5-6 hours for a full charge.
Talking about the features, you get a Detachable battery, Dual Speed Mode, Headlight with LED DRLs, Durable shock absorbers, Harmonic Braking System (HBS), Digital Instrument Cluster, and so much more.
Additionally, Ampere Zeal is available in Cherry Red, Pearl White, Ocean Blue, and Black.
Ampere Reo
Similarly, Ampere Reo closely resembles Zeal in terms of styling. However, it comes with budget-oriented internals.
It is powered by a 250W BLDC electric motor along with a 48V, 24Ah Lead Acid battery. Moreover, it can provide a range of up to 55-60km per charge. As for the charging time, it needs 5-6 hours to fully charge. However, the top-speed is capped at 25kmph.
Additionally, Ampere Reo is available in Blue, Red, Yellow, and Orange.
