Choose a motorcycle from a 150cc segment, what will it be? Pulsar? Apache? Yamaha? Well, those are generic… Think different. Think international. What if you could go a step further with Benelli? Yes, you heard it right!
Benelli Nepal was moving ahead on bringing Benelli TNT 150 in Nepal. Finally, its here! So, this marks the first Benelli TNT to enter the 150cc segment. But that’s not all the good news! It so happens, Benelli TNT 150 will come in two variants: Carburetor and Fuel-Injection Engine. Among which carburetor variant will be mind-blowingly affordable! Imagine that, an international brand of motorcycle that you could afford!
While the official launch was expected sometime around January, but that didn’t happen. Better late than never… Because a few days ago, Benelli Nepal finally unveiled both variants. So that means test rides are open! And, pricing is drastically different when compared to other Benelli models. Benelli TNT 15 price in Nepal for the carburetor variant is Rs. 2,30,000 and Benelli TNT 150i (FI variant) is Rs. 3,15,000. It is very interesting to see an international 150cc motorcycle become so affordable, especially for a carburetor variant.

Trust me, I’ve asked them twice about the pricing. The carburetor variant is just Rs. 2,30,000, which happens to cost even less than the already popular Benelli TNT 135. Please keep in mind, there are few cost-cutting on the TNT 15. Given the price tag, you shouldn’t really be surprised. But at the end of the day, it’s an affordable Benelli. So, if you aren’t really satisfied with the TNT 15, there’s always TNT 150i to fill those shoes.
Benelli TNT 15 & TNT 150i Specifications
Benelli TNT 15 and TNT 150i comes with a 148cc engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox. And, it will be able to produce max power of 12.06bhp at 8500rpm and 13.4Nm at 6000rpm. The bike is definitely a looker, following the footsteps of TNT 300, with the outstanding muscular design. As for the features, it is expected to host all the latest and greatest the technology has to offer. But most of those premium features will be available for TNT 150i. For example, ABS might be reserved for the FI-variant only.

Final Thoughts
Benelli TNT 15 is priced at just Rs. 2.30 Lakhs! Imagine 150cc Benelli motorcycle priced exactly like a TVS NTroq 125! What??? I seriously hope this trend goes mainstream. Yes, there are going to be cost-cutting, but that’s not the point. The point is how they pull this off in the first place. Get ready for Benelli TNT 150 to be the new Pulsar 150. It is so crazy to even consider, let alone believe, that an international motorcycle can be bought for a price of a 125cc scooter. This. is. Unreal.
Rest assured, I am very interested in the carburetor variant. I might even consider buying the TNT 15 after I test ride it. Likewise, offering even the FI variant with ABS for just Rs. 3.15 Lakhs, that just doesn’t happen. Is it a dream or is it a new reality?
