After the NK and the MT, we will now have the CL-C series from CFMoto Nepal in the 450cc segment. The CL-C basically means “Classic Cruiser,” and the bikes look like it, too. They are to be showcased in the following week, and the launch might follow soon afterwards.

CFMoto has been on a roll since 2025 as the company posted an incredible growth in global motorcycle sales, reaching over 2,50,000 units. Much credit goes to the thoughtful expansion of its product lineup, which comes with upgraded engineering and styling, hitting much of every category simultaneously.
Rishi Trade Center, the authorized distributor of CFMoto in Nepal, also stands in advantage as the parent company is serious about being one of the biggest motorbiking brands globally. The latest launch from the distributors, i.e., the CFMoto 450 MT, stands as evidence of it.
With the dust settling on the 450 MT, the company is already moving forward with three new models. One of them is the 250 Dual, which is a dual-sport bike, and the one we are discussing today is from the 450 CL-C series or the Classic Cruiser series. While there are two bikes in this series, both of them are the same, only differing slightly in terms of styling, ergonomics, and personality.
What is the Price of CFMoto 450 CL-C in Nepal?
CFMoto 450 CL-C price in Nepal is expected to be between Rs. 11.50 Lakhs to Rs. 12.50 Lakhs, depending on the variant.
Final confirmation on the pricing will have to wait as the brand plans to unveil the CL-C series shortly in Nepal, and the booking and launch will follow afterwards.
But what we can say at this point is that the 450 CL-C is likely to be priced at a lower price tag, while the 450 CL-C “Bobber” will be priced higher than the base. While the base CL-C already reserves a premium pricing at approx. 11.5 Lakhs, the Bobber variant takes it up a notch with its retro, solo-seat lifestyle cruiser persona.
Essentially, a bobber bike is custom-made by removing all the superfluous parts like front, fenders, windshields, turn signals, etc. in order to make it more agile, light, and minimalist for better performance and aesthetics. While the 450 CL-C Bobber does have some cues of a bobber, it can be better perceived as a marketing statement than an actual bobber.

CFMoto 450 CL-C Overview
Design
The CFMoto 450 CL-C follows a neo-retro cruiser minimalism design approach that mixes low-slung cruiser proportions with modern surface treatment, precision machining, and a clear restraint on ornamentation. Avoiding unnecessary covers or cosmetic bulk, a horizontal visual flow running from headlamp through the tank to the rear fender, and mass centralization around the engine and midsection gives a pretty good idea about its design language & philosophy.
The front end is very much restrained, which can be described as almost architectural in composition. The round LED Headlamp with its fully circular geometry signals retro lineage and aligns with the design language. Unlike chrome forks seen on classic cruisers, the matte-black finish creates a stealth aesthetic and also ties the front to the engine mass.

The handlebars are straight, and the edges finish with circular side mirrors – very cafe racer-like. Another highlight at the front is the massive tire, which establishes visual authority itself.
Side profile is probably the strongest angle of the 450 CL-C. If judged purely on silhouette, it punches above its displacement class. The tank follows a teardrop shape and maintains a small gap from the seat. The seat design also deserves a mention as the Bobber variant of the 450 CL-C comes with a single-seat design, while the standard variant comes with a split-seat design.
The 450cc engine is neatly tucked in with a good fit and finish, and it might not be very far-fetched to say that the way it is compacted, it might surprise some when they hear the actual displacement numbers. Moreover, the engine placement is bound to improve the stability of the bike, which fulfills one of the design philosophies.
One of the most visually commanding elements of this bike is its dual exhaust system. Combined with the engine layout that CFMoto uses, the dual-chamber exhaust system produces an almost melodious sound that most of us bike enthusiasts enjoy.

The rear design finishes off without any grab rails or wheel hugger. Instead, the short fender and dual circular taillamps give the bike a kind of character that will distinguish it even from the rear view.
Instrument Cluster
Think Retro! The 450 CL-C comes with a 3.6-inch retro-style round console, and it has a TFT display. Moreover, the console comes with navigation projection, vehicle-phone connectivity, even featuring OTA upgrades, MotoPlay, security, and anti-theft measures, track recording, and real-time viewing from the CFMoto Ride app.
While this is a standard in global variants, it is not quite sure whether the unit will come with all the features mentioned above. We will soon know about it anyway.

Performance
CFMoto 450 CL-C is powered by a 449.5cc Parallel Twin-cylinder, Liquid-cooled, DOHC, 270 Degree Crank, Fuel-Injected engine. It can generate a max power of 41 PS at 8000 rpm and 42 Nm at 6250 rpm. But let’s dissect the major engine configuration choices here.
Much like other motorcycles in CFMOTO’s 450cc lineup, this model uses a parallel twin-cylinder engine. Similar to the 450MT, it features a DOHC valve train paired with a 270-degree crankshaft. While manufacturers can still rely on single-cylinder engines, as displacement increases, single cylinders begin to suffer from higher vibration levels, limited rev ceilings, and reduced long-distance comfort. By opting for a twin-cylinder layout, CFMOTO improves refinement, smoothness, and overall ride quality, especially at highway speeds. And, this is a good thing for an intended cruiser bike.
Furthermore, the DOHC configuration allows precise valve timing and better breathing at higher RPMs, enabling the engine to deliver a wider and more usable powerband. Meanwhile, the 270-degree crankshaft spaces the crank pins 270 degrees apart, which means when one piston fires, the crankshaft rotates 270 degrees before the second piston fires. This firing order closely replicates the feel and sound of a V-twin engine.

Together, these configurations keep the engine compact in size, distribute mechanical and thermal loads more evenly, reduce harsh vibrations, and deliver a balanced power delivery with a deep, character-rich exhaust note, making it far more refined and engaging.
To further add on this, based on some international reviews, the engine translates the aforementioned theory to practical usage with a lively and predictable feel.
On to the more interesting part, the transmission comes with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip/assist clutch, and the power is carried all the way to the rear wheel via a Gates belt drive. As we are more familiar with the chain drive system, the Gates belt drive might come as something of a new mechanism. So, here’s a simple explanation of it:
Simply put, instead of a metal chain and sprockets, a belt drive uses a reinforced rubber belt with internal fiber cords to transfer power from the engine to the rear wheel. This system offers several advantages over a chain drive. It operates much more smoothly and quietly, requires minimal maintenance as there is no need for lubrication, and remains cleaner since it doesn’t fling grease onto the wheel or swingarm. Additionally, belt drives tend to last significantly longer under normal riding conditions, making them especially suitable for cruisers and touring-oriented motorcycles.
However, since they are significantly more expensive than conventional chain drives, both in terms of manufacturing and replacement, they are not commonly found in bikes.
And finally, there’s the thing about fuel economy. The fuel tank size is 12 liters, although as a cruiser class, a larger fuel tank would have been appreciated, but given the refined nature of the engine, mileage of 25-30 kmpl can be expected out of the 450 CL-C.
Additional Details
Suspension duties are handled by the combination of a 37 mm USD Forks and Monoshock (Pre-load Adjustable) Suspension. The dimensions of CFMoto 450 CL-C are 2205 mm in length, 805 mm in width, 1110 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 1485 mm.
The bike weighs between 177 kg to 181 kg, depending on the variant, where the Bobber inherently weighs a little less than the normal 450 CL-C.
A low-seated riding means a lower ground clearance, which is 160 mm, but this also means the seat height comes down as well. The seat height ranges between 690 mm to 705 mm where the Bobber variant has a higher seating setup than the normal one.

Talking about the price, the CFMoto 450 CL-C price in Nepal is rumored to be in the ballpark of Rs. 11,50,000 to Rs. 12,50,000. The standard variant reserves the lower price tag, while the Bobber will be priced higher than the standard.
But on a personal note, it makes sense to go with the standard option as Bobber variant, while focuses on a sharper personality with increased seat height, single-seat layout, and a stripped down silhouette, the actual cruiser persona is better visible on the standard CL-C.

Rivals
Now, for the most interesting part, and that is the competition the CFMOTO 450 CL-C will face in Nepal. And quite frankly, there is no direct rival at this point.
The unique combination of retro-inspired cruiser styling, a 450cc twin-cylinder engine, and the expected price point places the 450 CL-C in a niche that currently remains largely unoccupied in the Nepali market.
Most motorcycles available either sit in the lower-capacity cruiser segment or target a completely different segment like the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 and Honda H’ness CB350, respectively.
