The compact SUV scene underwent a significant shake-up in 2019 with the introduction of the Hyundai Venue. It was small, stylish, and smart enough to make everyone else step up their game. But with the advent of EVs that could do not just more but also better, and that too with a value-for-money proposition, its charisma has been slowly fading out.

But fast forward to 2025, and Hyundai is all set to drop the second-gen Venue, hoping to reignite that same ICE magic once again. Scheduled to launch in India on November 4, the new Venue looks ready to make its way to Nepal soon after, or at least, that’s what we’re crossing our fingers for.
What is the Price of the Hyundai Venue 2025 in Nepal?
Let’s start with the current model. The Hyundai Venue price in Nepal ranges from Rs. 41.96 Lakhs to Rs. 59.96 Lakhs. Simple enough. But for the Hyundai Venue 2025, there’s no official pricing yet, so we’ll have to estimate.
The market has changed. With EVs gaining serious attention, many buyers who once leaned toward petrol cars are now considering electric alternatives. So Hyundai Nepal needs to keep the Venue attractive. And the most effective way to do that is by keeping the price competitive.
Because of that, it’s reasonable to expect Hyundai to price the 2025 Venue close to the current range, or maybe even slightly more aggressively. Think practical pricing rather than bold markups.
But on the other hand, Hyundai Nepal does have a history of premium pricing, and the market recognizes this. The brand carries strong trust and a loyal fanbase, so many buyers are still willing to pay a premium for the Hyundai badge.
So while the 2025 Venue will likely offer refreshed features and improvements, the pricing can follow a familiar approach. Hyundai will continue being Hyundai.
Hyundai Venue 2025 Overview
Let’s start with the obvious: the design. The previous Venue already had a bold face with a large grille and split lights, and the new Hyundai Venue doesn’t exactly break away from that formula. But now, we get a connected light bar and C-shaped LED DRLs, which instantly give it that “2025 facelift” vibe. If it reminds you of Kia’s EV9 or EV3… or even Mahindra’s XEV 9e or BE 6 lineup, you’re not wrong. The inspiration is very visible.
Not that inspiration is bad. But despite being a new facelift, the front of the Venue 2025 feels oddly familiar. What does work better, though, is the grille. It’s actually functional now, and the lower bumper gets a chunky bash plate that looks like a single integrated piece. The designers are clearly trying to push for that rugged premium feel. And honestly, it comes together pretty nicely.

Move to the sides and you’ll notice the new 16-inch alloys. They have these subtle aero elements, again, something very commonly seen on EVs for better airflow and efficiency. The compact SUV stance remains properly intact, with the slightly muscular shoulder line helping it avoid looking too hatchback-ish.
At the rear, it mirrors the front design language. There’s another connected LED light bar, and the bash plate covers a sizable portion of the lower section. So yes, the design is cohesive. Familiar, but cohesive.
Now, coming to the inside and the change is much more noticeable. The cabin adopts a Dark Navy Blue and Dove Grey theme, which instantly feels more mature. The biggest upgrade here is the dual 12.3-inch setup – one for infotainment and one for the instrument cluster. It’s clean, modern, and clearly borrows inspiration from Hyundai’s EV interiors. Thankfully, Hyundai has not gone full touchscreen mania. There are still plenty of physical buttons, and we love to see it.

Let’s talk variants. The Venue 2025 lineup is pretty… extensive. The following table lists the Hyundai Venue 2025 along with its variants and corresponding powertrain design:
| Engine | Kappa 1.2 Petrol | Turbo GDI Petrol | 1.5 CRDi Diesel |
|---|---|---|---|
| Transmission | Manual (MT) | Automatic (AT) | Dual-Clutch (DCT) |
Combine all that using a bit of permutation-and-combination magic, and you end up with eight variants: HX2, HX4, HX5, HX6, HX6T, HX7, HX8, and HX10. Some of these have both petrol and diesel options. We don’t want to overwhelm our readers with the variants breakdown, but if you want, you can refer to the full breakdown of the variant-wise powertrain options section of this article.
Besides that, features also scale depending on the variant, but we’ll need the full official breakdown before diving into that. However, what we do know is that Hyundai has packed this generation with features to keep the compact SUV segment on its toes. You still get familiar goodies like automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, powered seats, and keyless entry.
But now, Hyundai adds ventilated front seats, rear window sunshades, moonlight ambient lighting, a Bose 8-speaker setup, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, 360-degree camera with front parking sensors, and even Level 2 ADAS. Yes, a L2 ADAS in a Venue.

The Hyundai Venue can be the carrier of the emotional weight of the ICE segment in a market increasingly swayed by EV hype. Yes, Hyundai did roll out the Creta Electric, but its presence in Nepal is still more about Hyundai’s strong brand backing than actual EV dominance. Yet, that project gave Hyundai’s designers and engineers a valuable runway. You can see it in the Venue 2025: the cleaner surfaces, the more coherent cabin layout, and the confidence in how the tech is integrated.
On the deployment side, the real power of the Venue 2025 lies in the fact that there’s still a sizeable crowd that wants a good petrol car and does not feel ready to switch to electric just because the market says so. These buyers want something that feels refined, modern, and still emotionally connected to the engine.
And the Venue 2025 seems to get that. It feels like Hyundai deliberately went all-in to keep ICE exciting. We still have to get behind the wheel to judge the drive experience, but as it stands, the Venue 2025 carries itself with purpose, like it’s here to remind everyone that the ICE story is not over just yet.
