The X-series represents Vivo’s most premium lineup, featuring high-end models like the Vivo X200s and the X Fold series. And now, there’s a new addition to the family: the Vivo X300 series, which currently includes the X300 and X300 Pro. But today, we’ll be focusing on the latter, the Vivo X300 Pro.
The X300 Pro is a direct successor to the highly popular X200 Pro, which made waves with its Zeiss-partnered camera system and flagship-grade hardware.
According to Vivo Nepal, the X200 Pro performed quite well in the Nepali market too. And now, with the Vivo X300 Pro gearing up for its global launch, the anticipation is already building.
What is the Price of the Vivo X300 Pro in Nepal?
If you look at Vivo’s recent launches like the V60 and V60 Lite, both came with noticeable price hikes compared to their predecessors. So, following that trend, the Vivo X300 Pro could very well see a similar jump.
That said, the Vivo X300 Pro price in Nepal could be around Rs. 1,94,999 for the sole 16/512GB variant. Compared to the Chinese model, that’s an increase of over 80%. Still, since the X200 Pro was priced in the same ballpark, this pricing wouldn’t be too surprising.
The phone has already debuted in China, but the global launch date is yet to be announced. That said, it’s almost certain the X300 Pro will arrive later this year, though for Nepal, we might have to wait a little longer.
First, let’s get this out of the way. The Vivo X300 Pro isn’t a massive generational leap from the X200 Pro. It’s more of a fine refinement with small, iterative upgrades. And for a flagship that already checks all the boxes, that’s actually pretty hard to pull off. Just look at Samsung S25, where the biggest change was basically adding AI to the S24.
With that in mind, I was quite impressed by what I saw on paper. But then again, if the price hike turns out to be steeper than expected, things might not look as shiny. Anyway, enough speculation, let’s move on to what the phone does best: the camera.
Vivo X300 Pro Overview
With a big camera bump that’s clearly visible through your jeans, the Vivo X300 Pro is bound to turn heads. But hey, that’s what you get with a proper triple-camera setup co-engineered with Zeiss.
The main and periscope telephoto cameras now use new sensors, the primary one being Sony’s LYT828. While the aperture and sensor size remain the same, this newer sensor should process photos more efficiently. Plus, the main camera is now gimbal-stabilised for super steady shots.
Megapixels stay the same as the X200 Pro, but the front camera sees a solid upgrade with a 50MP lens and a 2.7-inch sensor. The X300 Pro also supports 10-bit log video recording up to 4K at 120fps, something you couldn’t do before.
The display spec remains the same with a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED panel. However, Vivo has switched to Armor Glass protection for the X300 Pro.
Design-wise, it’s not a huge leap from the X200 Pro, except that the LED flash has moved to the left of the camera bump. Up front, Vivo has ditched the curved panel for a fully flat display, giving it a more iPhone-like look. And speaking of iPhone vibes, there’s now an Action button on the left frame too.
Under the hood, it runs on MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500, which is expected to rival the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Talking of the variants, like X200 Pro, a 16/512GB is expected.
Battery-wise, it’s a mixed bag: while the Chinese model gets a 6,510mAh upgrade, the global version drops to 5,440mAh, which feels underwhelming compared to rivals, though not terrible considering Samsung still sticks with 5,000mAh.
The best part? Vivo is finally bringing OriginOS globally with the X300 Pro, a huge win after years of the mid-tier FunTouchOS. Though early reviews mention fewer customisation options than the Chinese version, it’s still a major step up overall.

Just like the Vivo X200 Pro, the X300 Pro is a global sensation and a powerhouse when it comes to photography. However, Vivo could’ve packed in a slightly bigger battery.
That aside, the phone goes head-to-head with top-tier flagships like Apple’s iPhone 17 series and could even give the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup a run for its money.
