The Redmi Note series is one hell of a popular device in the Nepali market. And why would it not be? They are such an easy to recommend devices, after all.
So, when we got wind of the newest edition of these phones soon hitting the Nepali market — we were hyped, to say the least.
The 4G variants of the base and Pro models of the Redmi Note 14 series are yet to launch, but 91mobiles dug up some exclusive scoop on the devices. In contrast, the Pro+ will have 5G support and will be available in a single silicon option only. The Pro+ model has already been launched in China and India.
That being said, Nepal will likely get the global variant of the device, which is expected to have some key differences from its Chinese and Indian counterparts.
While these phones will only be official on 10 January 2025, some leaks are floating around regarding these devices. Let’s take a look at what they could be like based on currently available information.
Redmi Note 14 4G
Firstly, the lowest of the bunch — Redmi Note 14 4G. The phone is apparently powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultra chipset. Similarly, it will be available in 6/128GB, and 8/256GB trims.
The colour options include Midnight Black, Lime Green, and Ocean Blue colours.
Furthermore, this phone apparently has a 120Hz display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top and a fingerprint sensor underneath. This also means the display will be an OLED panel.
The primary camera is expected to be a 108MP unit. Moreover, a large 5,500mAh battery with 33W charging support powers the whole thing.
Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G
Moving on to the more capable variant of the series i.e. Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G — the phone packs the newer MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra and comes in a single 8/256GB configuration.
The main snapper on this phone is larger at 200MP while the front camera will be a 32MP unit. Likewise, the battery on this thing is the same size, however, the charging speed has been upped to 45W.
The screen cover also gets an upgrade to Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. In the meantime, this phone is also expected to arrive in three colour options — Ocean Blue, Aurora Purple, and Midnight Black.
Redmi Note 14 Pro+
Lastly, we have the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ — the torchbearer of the series. The talk is the phone’s global variant is different to the one that launched in China and India.
But, there is almost no information on this supposed “global” variant of the phone apart from colour choices, which include Frost Blue, Lavender Purple, and Midnight Black.
Both the Chinese and Indian variants of the phone are powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. They have a 6,200mAh battery with 90W charging support.
Similarly, for the camera, they have a 50MP unit with a Light Fusion 800 sensor acting as the main camera. Meanwhile, 50MP telephoto and 8MP ultrawide shooters serve as the auxiliary lenses.
The global variant of the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ might have specs somewhere along these lines. But we cannot tell with absolute certainty as of now.
But we don’t have to wait much longer either as the Redmi Note 14 series is launching on 10 January globally and on 13 January 2025 in Nepal.
