Hyundai Creta BS6 is finally in Nepal!
After months of speculations and anticipation, Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Hyundai vehicles in Nepal, launched the new Creta via a Virtual Launch.
These days virtual launches are the new normal. Just a few days ago, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios was launched similarly.

2020 Hyundai Creta BS6
The new Hyundai Creta features an edgy design, trying out bold exterior with the muscular stance.
On the front, it gets a creased hood line with a signature cascading grille.
If that didn’t necessarily grab your attention, the headlamps will. The 2020 Creta gets Trio Beam LED Headlamps, competes with Crescent Glow LED DRLs.
Hyundai claims that it is supposed to give off a futuristic vibe, but it looks so overdone and over-styled.
Moving to the side, it is the most normal part of the new Hyundai SUV. It comes with a chrome door handles and stylish lightning arch C-Pillar.
Finally, the rear section also gets a major refresh, with Twin Tip Exhaust and multi-LED tail-lamp.
Talking about the interiors styling, it feels miles better than the exterior styling.
The 2020 Hyundai Creta comes in two different engine configurations: 1.5L Petrol and 1.5L Diesel.
Talking about the Petrol Engine, it is powered by a 1.5L MPi Petrol Engine.
It can generate a max power of 115PS at 6300rpm and max torque of 144.16Nm at 4500rpm. Moreover, it will be available in 6-speed manual transmission and CVT.
Similarly, the 1.5L U2 CRDi Diesel Engine can generate a max power of 115PS at 4000rpm and 250Nm at 1500-2750rpm. Furthermore, it is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
Additionally, it comes with three drive modes: Comfort, Eco, and Sport and three traction modes: Snow, Sand, and Mud.
The all-new Hyundai Creta is feature-loaded! If anything, Hyundai has gone well and beyond offering so many features for this segment.
We won’t list all the features right now, but here are some cool highlights!

2020 Hyundai Creta Price in Nepal and Availability
Hyundai Creta is now officially available in Nepal.
At launch, the 2020 Hyundai Creta comes with six different variants, divided for two diesel variants and four petrol variants.
As for the pricing, the 2020 Hyundai Creta price in Nepal starts at Rs. 43.96 Lakhs to Rs. 65.96 Lakhs.
There’s a lot to unpack here: new design, new features, and a new engine.
I’m a big fan of everything about the new Hyundai Creta… well, almost everything. I do think that the front section looks overdone, making it look weird, at least in comparison with the old Creta.
Other than the slightly off looks, the 2020 Hyundai Creta offers a ton of new features, premium styling, and more to justify its compelling price.
Unfortunately, Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks, and Tata H5 try to offer a similar experience at a similar price point. However, the competition looks better than the Creta, from the design standpoint.
