ZTE Blade A54, an Entry-Level Smartphone, Now Launched in Nepal

ZTE has recently launched two entry-level smartphones in Nepal: the ZTE Blade A34 and the ZTE Blade A54. Both the phones are priced affordably below Rs. 15,000 with competitors like Honor X5 Plus and Redmi 12C.

ZTE Blade A54 Overview

Design

A massive rectangular camera module on the back covers most of the top half of this phone. While the island is big, it only has 2 cameras along with a flash and branding on this area.

On the bottom, you will get a Type-C charging port, a headphone jack, a microphone, and a speaker. Similarly, to the right, the volume buttons are placed along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner in the lock button itself.

Buyers get to choose the phone among 3 color variations: Grey, Blue, and Lilac.

Display

The ZTE Blade A54 sports a 6.6-inch LCD panel. This is an HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1612. The chin of the screen especially stands out, as it is comparatively larger than the side and top bezels. As with most smartphones on a budget range, a teardrop camera notch is placed at the top of the screen.

Hardware

Powering the phone is the Unisoc SC9863A chipset, a rather large 28nm sOc introduced first back in 2018. The octa-core processor consists of four 1.6 GHz Cortex-A55 and four 1.2 GHz Cortex-A55 cores.

There is a 4GB RAM inside the smartphone. Users have the option to virtually extend the RAM up to 8GB, which is not the same as having a physical RAM but does reduce the pressure on the main RAM. The storage option available in Nepal is 128GB.

Even with a dual sim card inserted, there is an additional space for a microSD card in this phone.

Camera

Since every smartphone is giving at least two rear cameras on their phones right now, ZTE has also given a dual camera setup on this phone. One camera is a 13MP lens while the other is an auxiliary lens.

The front consists of a 5MP camera, whose video capture capacity is not defined. But the primary camera captures 1080p videos at 30fps.

Battery and OS

The smartphone features a 5000mAh battery, which is expected to last a full day of use. It supports 10W charging.
And lastly, the operating system running the phone is Android 13.

ZTE Blade A54 Price in Nepal and Availability

The ZTE Blade A54 price in Nepal is Rs. 14,500 (4/128GB). The phone is available for purchase at retail stores nationwide.

The ZTE phone is a simple entry-level phone with a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD screen, a 5000mAh battery, and also a side fingerprint scanner. The processor is a bit disappointing even at this price range.
