Yatri Project One has created a new history in Nepal.
The Nepal-born EV company, Yatri Motorcycles had initially opened bookings for Project One in late December 2021.
Project One will be a dual-sport electric for the masses. Although it does not sport many premium features as its P0 sibling, the spec sheet is still impressive in all regards.
Unsurprisingly, the first lot was booked-out in less than a month. Those deliveries will likely take place at the end of the first quarter of 2022.
In light of the immense response, Yatri Motorcycles will open bookings for the next lot in a few weeks. The deliveries for the second lot will take place in mid-2022.
As for the pricing, the Yatri P1 price in Nepal starts at Rs. 4.95 Lakhs to Rs. 5.44 Lakhs.

Yatri Project One Overview
Design
Project One goes for the minimalistic aesthetics with a hint of dual-sport character.
The front section comes with a circular LED headlamp with a unique LED DRL. It includes a white visor alongside the LED Indicators.
Moving to the side profile, the scrambler-like or dual-sport characteristics are more apparent.
It includes large dual-purpose tyres, spoke wheels, and a USD fork suspension. Furthermore, it sports a well-integrated seat to maintain minimalism.
The rear section sports a slit-like LED tail lamp with LED indicators.

Interestingly enough, the rear tyre hugger does not hamper the overall styling.
Project One manages to look elegant with futuristic and modern vibes. And, the component placement feels more well-integrated and uniform.
Project One will be available in one color: White.
However, riders can customize the color in the perimeter, suspension, and seat for a personalized appearance. Premium colors will cost additional Rs. 3,700.
Performance
Yatri P1 is powered by an electric motor with high performance at low operating costs. The electric motor will generate a max power of 19HP (14kW) and a max torque of 480Nm at wheel. Moreover, it claims a top speed of 100Kmph.
It comes with a 3.0kWh Lithium Manganese Oxide Battery, that can be charged in 2 hours with a home charger! Furthermore, it supports Fast Charging that can charge up to 80% in just 40 mins!
Yatri Project One claims a range of 110Km.
Project One batteries come with a 5 Years Warranty. Yatri claims that P1 will run for 120000 km before the battery capacity falls down to 80% of its original capacity.

Power Pack:
Power Pack allows for faster 0-60Kmph time. It comes with an aggressive gear ratio with 80T rear sprockets.
In contrast, the base variant only includes 72T rear sprockets.

Stoppie Pack:
Stoppie Pack allows for a shorter braking distance. It comes with a larger rotor and performance caliper with a 320mm front disc.
In contrast, the base variant only includes a 240mm front disc.

Digital Startup Pack:
Digital Startup Pack allows for a contact-free digital On/Off-key. It replaces the traditional On/Off key.
