Mi Nepal’s Facebook page puts it like this, “Mi FANS! let’s welcome the new entry-level smartphone king in Nepal.” While there has been a huge competition for the ultra-budget smartphones in the Nepali market, Mi Redmi 4A had been able to keep up pretty well.

So, Mi has released the new smartphone in their ultra-budget smartphone lineup: The Mi Redmi 5A. With almost identical design and dimensions to its predecessor, it comes packed with better Specs. The Xiaomi Redmi 5A is now available in Nepal. Xiaomi Redmi 5A price in Nepal is set at Rs. 13,999.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5A comes with a 5.00-inch HD 120×1280 IPS. It is rocking a Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Processor with an Adreno 308 GPU. This powerful CPU is equipped with either 2 or 3 GB of RAM. The 2 GB version comes with a 16 GB of ROM and the 3 GB version comes with 32 GB of ROM.

There are usually some tradeoffs for a cheap phone. Usually, some companies give up camera quality, some give up battery life. But Xiaomi has nailed it this year. For a phone that is this inexpensive, one might expect a flaw, but there are no such major flaws in this one. It has a great aluminum build, that is fairly lightweight.
