UMIDIGI A7 price in Nepal is Rs. 15,490 and is available in 4GB/64GB configuration. It is available for purchase via daraz right now in two colors: Midnight Green and Space Grey.

UMIDIIGI A7 is a budget smartphone that boasts Quad cameras and comes with stock Android. Let’s see what else it provides.

UMIDIGI A7 Overview

Design

UMIDIGI A7 looks the same as the A7 Pro. They both have the same design. UMIDIGI mentions double-sided 2.5D curved glasses couple with a metal frame. The fingerprint sensor is rear-mounted and the build looks quite good.

On the front, it has a teardrop notch similar to the A7 Pro.

Display

UMIDIGI A7 has a bigger 6.49-inch HD+ screen with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It’s an LCD display coupled with in-cell and LTPS technology.

It’s a bigger display than the UMIDIGI A7 Pro but has HD+ resolution only.

Hardware

While the UMIDIGI A7 Pro is using MediaTek Helio P23 chipset, UMIDIGI A7 gets downgrade with the Helio P20.

It’s a 16nm chipset with an Octa-core CPU where all of the 8-cores are ARM Corte-A53 cores. 4 of the cores are clocked at 2.3GHz and the other 4 cores are clocked at 1.64GHz. As for GPU, it uses ARM Mali-T880 MP2 GPU.

So, it’s chipset is not the best you can get for the price. While the new Redmi and Realme smartphones provide Helio G25 and G35 chipset. You can also get a P35 chipset from the likes of Honor 8A Pro.

Camera

Similar to UMIDIGI A7 Pro, UMIDIGI A7 also has a quad-camera setup. It has a 16MP main sensor, 8MP Ultra-Wide Angle camera with 120-degree FOV, a 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor.

On the front, it has a 16MP sensor for selfies. Both rear cameras and front cameras are capable of recording 1080p videos.

Battery

In terms of battery, it comes with a 4150 mAh battery which should be enough for more than a day of usage. For charging, it has 10W USB Type C charging.

Furthermore, it runs on the stock version of Android 10.

So, UMIDIGI A7 looks stylish and is similar to the A7 Pro. It has a quad-camera setup which is identical to the A7 Pro with the only change being the 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera instead of the 16MP ultra-wide angle sensor used on the UMIDIGI A7 Pro. Instead of an FHD+ screen, it gets an HD+ display with the same battery capacity. The other change comes in terms of processing power as it gets a further downgrade with Helio P20.

Its quad-camera setup looks interesting but the chipset is underwhelming.
