Tata Hexa Launched in Nepal at NPR 77.95 Lakh

Such a big car. Yes, that’s what most of the people will say when they see this new TATA vehicle on the road. It’s big on the outside, big on the inside, big on the change. Big, brawny, bold and intimidating, TATA ‘Hexa’.

Tata Motors Nepal has finally launched its brand new SUV, ‘Hexa’ in Nepal. The Hexa is the new flagship of the Tata Motors with a premium build and a commanding price tag of NPR 77.95 lakh.

The Hexa is originally available in six variants in India but for some reasons, Tata Motors Nepal has decided to bring only the XT 4*4 variant in Nepal, which is the top end model of the Hexa and comes with all the features the Hexa has to offer.

Specs Outline

At the heart of the Hexa is a powerful 2.2-liter VARICOR diesel engine churning out 156 BHP power @4000 RPM and 400 NM torque at as low as 1700 RPM. The XT 4*4 variant comes with a six-speed manual gearbox. The Hexa also features ‘Super Drive Modes’ that can be activated through a well-placed rotary knob, on the center console.

There are altogether 4 driving modes, Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough Road through which choose as per the respective terrain and the mood of the driving.

There are a lot of cars in the segment though, with the primary rival being the Mahindra XUV 500. It also goes against slightly cheaper crossovers like Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster, Honda BR-V and to some extent, the Toyota Innova Crysta.
