Applications Open For Social Business Challenge 2018

The Social Business Challenge 2018 is being organized by Yunus Social Business Center and King’s college in collaboration with a few other organizations. They have announced that the applications are open for the challenge.

The Details:

The application deadline is 25^th May 2018. Once the applicants have been decided, they will have numerous workshops from the month of May to June and then finally have an Idea Pitch-In and Grand Finale on 22^nd August.
The thematic areas are ICT, Sustainable Tourism, Agriculture, Renewable Energy & Environment, Education, Gender Equality, Water and Sanitation, Health for 2018.

Why it Matters:

The winner of the challenge will be getting a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh to incubate their idea.
The program is hosted to encourage the youth to come up with innovative business ideas that could be shaped into ventures through incubation, facilitation and financial support.
