Samsung’s budget tablets have never really stood out like the flagship ones. So the real question is: can the A11 Plus finally change that? Let’s dive in and see what it’s bringing to the table.

There’s been a fresh wave of budget tablet launches lately, from Honor to OnePlus and now Samsung. But if there’s one thing Samsung consistently struggles with, it’s pricing. Just look at the Tab S10 Lite: an Exynos 1330-powered tablet priced north of Rs. 50,000. Not exactly a value champ.

But with the Galaxy Tab A11+, it finally feels like Samsung has hit the sweet spot. The pricing is sensible, and the specs aren’t half bad either.

Let’s explore in detail and determine whether the A11+ truly meets expectations.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+ Overview

The Galaxy Tab A11+, the elder sibling to the Tab A11, steps things up with a noticeably larger 11-inch display, almost brushing the size of the Tab S10 Lite. It’s also slimmer than the regular A11, measuring just 6.9mm in thickness.

The design has also been updated. Unlike the Tab A11, which had a mix of materials on the back, the Tab A11 Plus now comes with a more premium full-metal rear, with a plastic strip at the top for the antennas. It looks cleaner and feels more solid overall.

On the back, you’ll find a single 8MP camera, while the front gets a 5MP shooter, the same setup we saw on the Tab A11.

Now let’s talk about the part that feels a bit disappointing: the display. For a brand that’s one of the largest display manufacturers in the world, Samsung’s sticking to a 90Hz TFT panel really dulls the experience. Yes, it’s a budget tablet, but the panel quality doesn’t quite match the asking price.

That said, the 1200 × 1920 resolution, paired with a quad-speaker setup, is decent enough for casual streaming, reading, and day-to-day use.

Powering the A11+ is MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300, which honestly offers pretty solid value for this price range. In fact, it even edges past the Samsung Tab S10 Lite in raw performance.

Samsung has paired it with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage for the Wi-Fi variant and 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage for the 5G variant. Storage for the Wi-Fi model might feel tight, but you do get a dedicated microSD slot with support for up to 2TB expansion, so that’s covered.

Battery life should hold up well, too, thanks to a 7,040mAh unit with upgraded 25W fast charging. However, you’ll have to pay extra for the charger.

And perhaps the biggest win here: the tab comes with Android 16 with One UI 8 on top and promises a massive 7 generations of OS and security updates. That means this tablet stays software-relevant all the way until 2032, easily one of the strongest support commitments in the budget segment.

So, to sum it up, the Galaxy Tab A11+ truly earns that “Plus” badge. You’re getting a bigger display, a bigger battery, faster charging, and noticeably better raw performance. In fact, it even outperforms the pricier Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, which is wild considering the A11+ costs less.

Overall, the Galaxy Tab A11+, especially the Wi-Fi variant, shapes up to be a solid value for money. But the story changes quickly once you look at the 5G model. Priced at almost Rs. 50,000, it steps into a territory where the Xiaomi Pad 7 delivers far superior value across display, performance, and overall user experience.
