Samsung has launched a host of new devices in the last few weeks including Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Watch 3, Galaxy Z Fold 2, and others. But it looks like Samsung is not done with Unpacked events just yet.
Samsung has announced that there will yet another Samsung Unpacked event on September 23rd at 10 AM ET. This will be an online event just like the recent Note 20 Unpacked event. And the invitation is title “Galaxy Unpacked for Every Fan” which hints that this event is about the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition
Just like any other Samsung’s high-end phones, Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is not a well-hidden secret. It has been making lots of noise on the internet and it was leaked on the official website as well.
In its announcement post, Samsung said that it has developed a special relationship with Galaxy fans worldwide and that their valuable feedback has helped create exciting innovations and made mobile experiences better for everyone.
The teaser video also shows six colors in which the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition is expected to be available.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition is supposed to come with Snapdragon 865 (5G variant) or Exynos 990 (4G variant), depending on the region. It will also sport an Infinity-O screen with 6.5 inches AMOLED panel and unlike other S20 phones, it will have a pure flat display. The display is supposed to be a120Hz display but it will only an FHD panel with Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
It is also said to feature a 32MP selfie camera, a 12MP+12MP+8MP rear-facing camera, and IP68 certification. The phone will run Android 10 out of the box and will be powered by a 4,500mAh battery.
For the S20 Fan Edition, Samsung is providing six fancy colors: Pink, Mint Green, Navy Blue, Red, White, and a Golden bronze.
This device might turn out to be a proper flagship and not just another lite variant. I really hope that we get the Snapdragon variant as a choice in Nepal as well. Let’s be hopeful!
