Redmi Buds 5A with ANC Launched in Nepal at Rs. 2,499!

The Redmi Buds 5A, a new pair of TWS earbuds from Xiaomi, is now available in Nepal. It is priced in the budget segment.

Xiaomi’s new Redmi Buds 5A comes with ANC up to 25dB, 12mm dynamic drivers, Google Fast Pair, and Bluetooth 5.4. The ANC and Google Fast Pair features are something that is rarely found in wireless earbuds at this price range.

Redmi Buds 5A Overview

Design

In terms of design, Xiaomi has gone the function-over-form route and made the Redmi Buds 5A look as inconspicuous as possible. In fact, the earbuds do not have branding, indicating LEDs, or any noticeable design elements to distinguish them from competitors.

Shape-wise, the case of the earbuds comes in a pebble-like shape that opens at the top, allowing access to the earbuds. The inside comes in the same plastic material as the case, with uniform colors all over. There is one USB-C port at the bottom.

Talking about the earbuds themselves, they have an oval-shaped main body with a stem attached at the end. The in-ear design buds come in a more shiny finish housing compared to the case’s frosted finish. The earbuds are certified IPX4 water resistant.

Features

When talking about features, the Redmi Buds 5A comes jam-packed with features that are available in mid-to-high range earbuds only. Starting off, the earbuds have 12mm dynamic drivers that give a good sound signature and can be customized through the Xiaomi Earbuds app.

In addition to standard features like touch controls, voice assistant support, and low latency mode (60ms), the Redmi Buds 5A include Active Noise Cancellation effective up to 25dB. They also feature AI-enhanced environmental noise cancellation and offer three levels of transparency to hear or block external sounds.

Battery and Connectivity

The Redmi Buds 5A comes with a 440mAh battery in its case and a 34mAh battery in each earbud. According to Xiaomi, the earbuds can provide up to 3.5 hours of continuous playback with ANC On at 50% volume and up to 5 hours of continued playback with ANC Off at 50% volume.

Additionally, Xiaomi states that the earbuds can play music for up to 90 minutes after charging for only 10 minutes, and they can be fully charged in less than 1.5 hours. The earbuds use a USB-C port for charging.

To connect to your smartphone or any playback device, the earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.4. They offer compatibility with a wide range of operating systems, including Android, iOS, and Windows.

Another connectivity feature of the earbuds is the inclusion of Google’s Fast Pair, which helps to quickly connect the earbuds to your Android device.

Currently, the Redmi Buds 5A price in Nepal is Rs. 2,499. It is available for purchase on e-commerce sites and offline retailers.
