After a long time of whispers and speculation, the REDMAGIC 11 Pro has finally made its way to Nepal. It is not only the first true flagship launch from ZTE in the country, but also the first time we are getting a no-bar gaming phone here.

The REDMAGIC series is ZTE’s most prized possession. It’s not just the company’s flagship lineup; it’s also one of the very few smartphone series that fully commit to gaming-grade hardware, with features like active cooling that most flagships wouldn’t dare to include.
What is the Price of REDMAGIC 11 Pro in Nepal?
The REDMAGIC 11 Pro price in Nepal is Rs 1,64,999 for its sole 16/512GB variant. Customers can pre-book the phone at authorised ZTE stores across the country.
As part of the offer, buyers get a FREE REDMAGIC Gaming Console worth Rs. 20,000, along with a Rs 5,000 cashback. There’s also the option of 0% EMI.
Looking at the global pricing of $700, or $899 for the 512GB variant, the Nepali price might feel a bit steep. However, when the phone first launched, the current RAM crisis wasn’t quite here. Since then, rising costs have hit the market hard, and several ZTE phones have already seen price increases.
Had this phone arrived a little earlier, it likely would’ve been more affordable. But that’s just an interesting “what if” to think about. Even so, at its current price, the REDMAGIC 11 Pro still sits on the lower end of flagship pricing, alongside phones like the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and OnePlus 15. In contrast, other competing flagships such as the Vivo X300 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, and iPhone 17 Pro series cost well over Rs 1,80,000 in Nepal.
It has been some time since the 11 Pro launched globally, yet its specs are still top-notch. It’s powered by a true flagship chipset, runs the latest version of Android, and shows no signs of compromise on the core fundamentals.
On paper, the specifications are impressive, but REDMAGIC doesn’t stop there. The company has gone a step further by introducing a liquid-based cooling system, something we’re seeing on a smartphone for the very first time.
Naturally, that raises a few questions. What happens if you drop the phone? Could the liquid leak? What about extreme cold? Does it freeze? And if the phone accidentally gets wet, does the active cooling fan fail?
These are all valid concerns, and thankfully, REDMAGIC has thought about it already. So with the basics covered and the doubts addressed, let’s dive deeper into the full overview of the REDMAGIC 11 Pro:
RedMagic 11 Pro Overview
The REDMAGIC 11 Pro, like most REDMAGIC phones, looks like a solid slab of metal, and that’s very much intentional. You get flat aluminium frames, a flat display, and a completely flat back with no camera bump whatsoever. It genuinely looks like a brick, helped by the fact that it’s just 0.1mm shy of 9mm thick.
The frames are absolutely packed with controls. Alongside the usual volume rocker and power button, you get two pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers designed specifically for gaming. This year, REDMAGIC has also added an extra sensor on the left frame.

There’s even a 3.5mm headphone jack on top, something the industry suddenly decided was a budget smartphone feature. And of course, the signature Magic Slider is back, instantly launching Game Mode and giving quick access to all your installed games.
This gamer phone has very gamer-y names for its color options: Nightfreeze (black) and Subzero (white). Both options are transparent and fully show off the liquid cooling loop, the internal cooling fan, and illuminated branding, including the REDMAGIC logo and the Snapdragon flagship badge.
With RGB lighting and exposed internals, it’s guaranteed to grab attention. It’s less subtle and corporate-friendly like other flagships, and more of an RGB gaming rig in phone form.
But there is an option called Cryo, which keeps things cleaner and more subtle. It covers all the visible cooling elements and glowing logos, but that does not mean it loses its entire gaming aesthetic. This look, however, is reserved for the 12/256GB variant only, which again isn’t coming to Nepal. Fine by me, really.
Up front, the REDMAGIC 11 Pro sports a massive 6.85-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, delivering both sharp visuals and ultra-smooth gameplay. Gorilla Glass protection is present, though REDMAGIC hasn’t specified which version. The 16MP under-display selfie camera keeps the front completely uninterrupted.
Around the back, there’s a familiar 50MP main camera and 50MP ultrawide setup. It’s simple, but let’s be honest, this phone is clearly built for gaming first. So, I am not expecting crisp and vivid photos from it. And as for software, the phone boots with Android 16 with REDMAGIC OS 11 skin on top. The company is offering 2 years of Android OS updates and 5 years of security patches on this phone.

ABSOLUTE PERFORMANCE!
Now, let’s talk about the aspect where REDMAGIC 11 Pro truly flexes its power — THE PERFORMANCE! The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with 16GB RAM and storage of 512GB, is as good as it gets. There is an even more mindboggling 24GB RAM and 1TB variant, but that’s not coming to Nepal.
Bummer, but the 16/512GB variant is more than enough for most mobile games. With this much performance on tap, heat becomes inevitable, so REDMAGIC goes all-in on cooling to keep temperatures in check. The phone features a massive 13,116mm² vapour chamber. But wait, that’s not all!

Now that the latest Pro iPhones also come with a vapour chamber, it’s safe to say that having one is no longer a special or niche feature. But those are not the words you would use to describe REDMAGIC!

What sets them apart is that they have an active cooling fan on their phone. And the crazy thing is, they have had it as early as 2019. This one in particular spins at up to 24,000 RPM. But that’s still not all!
REDMAGIC thought that still was not enough, so they added a whole new Aqua Core cooling system that uses the same fluorinated liquid used by AI servers and can withstand extreme temperatures from -40°C to 70°C.
All this engineering and wizardry on the phone leaves it with visible intake and exhaust vents, which normally is a waterproofing nightmare. But the company still manages to deliver an IPX8 water-resistance rating, which is yet another wizardry.
Finally, to round things off, the REDMAGIC 11 Pro crams a 7,500mAh battery, a 1,450mAh jump over its predecessor. It is then paired with 80W fast charging that can reportedly take the phone from 0 to 100% in just 68 minutes. Reverse wireless charging is also supported.
With all this hardware packed in, I hope it can at least run Crysis on it.

There’s no doubt that the REDMAGIC 11 Pro is a serious piece of hardware. It packs genuinely impressive specs, including the latest Snapdragon chipset, a 144Hz AMOLED display, and an excellent 7,500mAh battery. REDMAGIC also pushes boundaries by offering an IP rating on a phone that still features actual intake and exhaust vents.
And that’s without even getting into the liquid cooling system, which is incredibly ambitious considering how compact a smartphone form factor is.
So, is the REDMAGIC 11 Pro an absolute value-for-money device? Yes, but only for the right buyer. If you are a diehard mobile gamer playing heavy games like Genshin Impact, Wuthering Waves, and emulator games for hours on end, then yes, absolutely.
But if you are looking for a standard flagship that can handle games, take pretty pictures, and does not look edgy, then such a hefty sum is better spent elsewhere.
