Realme C63 with 50MP Camera Now Available in Nepal

The Realme C63, a new smartphone in the entry-level segment, is available for purchase in Nepal.

The Realme C63, a new smartphone that has succeeded the Realme C53, is an entry-level smartphone with a design that takes heavy inspiration from Apple’s iPhone. Inside, the phone has a UNISOC Tiger T612 processor, a 90Hz IPS LCD display, a 50MP rear camera, and a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W charging.

Realme C63 Overview

Design

As mentioned earlier, the Realme C63 has a design language similar to the recent iPhones in the market. Overall, the phone sports a flat and boxy design, with flat side rails and a flat rear panel that gives it a compact look.

The side rails of the phone are made of plastic and house the volume and power/fingerprint buttons on the right, and the SIM card slot rests on the right. Finally, the charging port and the 3.5mm headphone jack rest on the bottom.

On the rear, the phone has a dual camera setup that rests on a square-shaped island alongside the flash. The Realme logo can be found on the bottom left corner of the device.

Talking about the finish, the device comes in either a plastic (Jade Green) or vegan leather (Leather Blue) back. The smartphone is also rated IP54 dust and water-resistant.

Display

Moving onto the display, the phone has a teardrop notch display with black bezels and a prominent chin on the bottom. The 6.74-inch IPS LCD panel has a resolution of 720 x 1604 pixels. This gives the phone a pixel density of around 260 ppi.

Moving on, the display has a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz and a maximum typical brightness of 450 nits. The brightness increases to 560 nits in HBM mode.

The panel also supports Realme’s Rainwater Smart Touch feature which allows for more accurate interaction when the display or your hands are wet.

Hardware

In terms of hardware, the phone comes equipped with a UNISOC T612 processor. The rather dated 12nm octa-core processor has 2x 1.8 GHz Cortex-A75 and 6x 1.8 Cortex-A55 alongside a Mali-G57 graphics processor.

In terms of memory, the phone comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Besides that, the phone also supports memory expansion and has a dedicated microSD card slot.

One unique feature of Realme’s power button is its ability to launch different applications like the flashlight, camera, etc. after unlocking it. Realme calls the feature ‘Dynamic Button’.

Cameras

Regarding the camera, the C63 comes with a 50MP main camera that has an aperture of f/1.8. The main camera is accompanied by an auxiliary lens whose purpose and specifications have not been specified by Realme.

At the front, you get an 8MP selfie camera. Video-wise, the front camera can record videos up to 720p at 30 frames per second whereas the main camera can record videos up to 1080p at 30 frames per second.

Battery and OS

Realme has included a 5000mAh power pack with the Realme C63. The battery charges through a USB-C port, and it supports 45W fast charging.

In terms of software, Realme has included Android 14 as the phone’s operating system and has applied Realme UI 5.0 skin on top of the base OS.

Besides that, Realme has also included AI-based performance management tools and a new feature called Air Gestures in the software.
