Along with the Enco W31, Oppo has launched Oppo Enco M31 in Nepal. It’s a wireless earphone but it’s not a TWS as it has a neckband.

Oppo Enco M31 Overview

Design

Oppo Enco M31 is a neckband style wireless earphones. It has an ergonomic curved shape with a smooth surface. It has Liquid Silicone Rubber on the outside that surrounds a shape-memory metal-core that perfectly sits on the neck. The ear tips are in-ear so it will fit easily.

The earphone also has a magnetic end to its pair of earphones that sticks to each other. This helps it keep together when not in use and it also automatically disconnects when the two ends are connected.

It’s also an IPX5 rated earphone so it is splash resistant to water splashes and sweat.

Button Controls

On the one side of a neckband, there is a power button that also doubles as a play/pause button. Then there are volume controls and a microphone. The buttons are the same as any typical wireless neckband.

Sound Driver

Oppo Enco M31 has a 9.2mm dynamic driver with a driver sensitivity of 101.19dB @ 1 kHz. It is certified for Hi-Res audio with a titanium-plated diaphragm.

It supports LDAC audio codec which enables it to transmit audio at speed of 990kbps. However, your connected device also needs to support LDAC to support high res audio.

Bluetooth 5.0

Oppo Enco M31 uses Bluetooth 5.0 and it has a range of up to 10 meters.

Bluetooth 5.0 enables strong connection but Oppo doesn’t mention anything about connection strength.

Battery

Oppo Enco M31 has am 88mAh battery that can provide up to 12 hours of typical music playback and 8 hours on LDAC on a full charge. And it takes about an hour to charge it from 0 to 100.

This earphone is an in-ear style with a neckband. So, it will be very comfortable and it’s more useful for people who go to the gym.

It supports Bluetooth 5.0 which is a good thing as it means the connection will be more reliable and strong. Then it supports LDAC which is much faster in speed that Qualcomm aptX HD codec. It is widely supported by flagship Android phones but it is not available on iPhones.

It is certainly not affordable but it has a pretty good spec and the LDAC support is super great which is mostly available on Sony headphones.
