OnePlus Nord Buds 2 with ANC Launched in Nepal

OnePlus just launched their new OnePlus Nord 3 phone which comes with their flagship camera sensor. Now, they have launched the Nord Buds 2, which falls under their list of accessories available in Nepal.

The Oneplus Nord Buds 2 is a TWS (True Wireless Stereo) earbud. This is not the first OnePlus Nord earbuds we have seen. OnePlus was already selling the Nord Buds in Nepal. Since then, there have been new players joining this price range hoping to make big impacts.

Oneplus Nord Buds 2 Overview

Design

The Oneplus Buds 2 is an in-ear style earbud made from eco-friendly recycled materials. It has a relatively short stem compared to others and has touch controls on both earbuds. The earbuds weigh around 4.7gm.

OnePlus has included a 12.4mm driver with a larger diaphragm and titanium coating. The buds also have a rear cavity to help cut background noise.

The earbuds also come with an IP55 rating. This means the earbuds are sweat and water-resistant.

The case is rectangular and features a LED light. There are two color options to choose from: Air White and Bass Black.

Features

OnePlus has added quite a lot of features to the Nord Buds 2. This is the first time they have added ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) to a Nord audio product. The ANC is said to provide up to 25dB of active noise cancellation.

For Input, there are dual mics on each earbud for a total of 4 mics. One call mic and one noise cancellation mic to ensure clear voice calls. The earbuds also feature Dolby Atmos support and Sound Master Equalizer.

The earbuds also feature a transparency mode so that you can stay safe while wearing earbuds outdoors.

Battery and Connectivity

The earbuds each come with a 41mAh battery. OnePlus has claimed 5 hours of playback with ANC enabled and 7 hours of playback with ANC disabled. The case has a battery of 480mAh and provides up to 27 hours of playback with ANC and 36 hours without.

The earbuds support fast charging via USB-C port and can provide five hours of usage with just 10 minutes of charging, or so OnePlus claims. The earbuds feature Bluetooth V5.3 and OnePlus Fast Pair which works on select OnePlus phones. The earbuds have a 10m connection distance which is pretty standard.
