OnePlus is known for manufacturing phones with top-notch specs at a low price. Previously we saw flagship killers like OnePlus One, OnePlus Two and a budget phone OnePlus X. This year OnePlus is back at it again with a giant killer OnePlus 3 and it nails pretty much everything you expect from a high-end smartphone. OnePlus 3 was launched on 14th of June, 2016 via live stream VR event. OnePlus 3 is to be launched in Nepal next week and the price should be around Rs. 50,000.
OnePlus 3 is an upgrade over OnePlus 2 and this time the phone is much thinner as it measures 152.70 x 74.70 x 7.35 (height x width x thickness). OnePlus 3 features a 1080p 5.5-inch OLED display protected by corning gorilla glass 4. OnePlus 3 has a full metal unibody and noticeable change in its build is a camera bump at the back.
OnePlus 3 smashes the spec game with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor clocked at the max frequency of 2.15 GHz, Adreno 530 GPU, and 6GB of RAM. The phone comes with 64GB of internal memory which cannot be expanded. In the case of Camera, it carries a 13 MP rear camera with led flash, optical image stabilization, and 4k video support while it has a 8 MP front camera. Also, it runs on Android (v 6.0.1) Marshmallow.
Don’t Miss: OnePlus 3 to be launched on 27th July, Pre-booking started on Kaymu
OnePlus 3 is backed up by 3000mAh non-removable battery and it supports dash charge (60% in half and hour). Talking about connectivity the phone supports Dual sim (Nano-sim), Micro USB (Type-C 1.0) and also has an NFC. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope. One of the best thing OnePlus does is they do not exclude these sensors and a good camera even for a lower price (200$ lower than its competitors).
OnePlus kept their new flagship simple as it does not feature fancy features like modularity or dual cameras like other flagships. But it runs on latest top of the line specifications and provides tough competition to other flagships like Samsung Galaxy s7 due to its low price of 399$.
OnePlus is getting popular in Nepal and OnePlus 3 will definitely be a great hit in Nepali market. Given its specifications and price, people willing to buy high-end flagships should certainly lean towards the OnePlus 3. At last, OnePlus 3 is the definition of high-end flagship phone for the Nepali market.
