Nepal Telecom (NT) has started the International Subscriber Dialing (ISD) service to its customers using postpaid mobile. The service was brought in to operation from last Friday, June 15. Previously, the service was restricted to only NT prepaid customers.
Now with the operation of the service, any GSM and CDMA postpaid users can directly make international calls. Earlier, the postpaid customers had to face unnecessary hassle to visit the telecom office to enable the ISD service.
GSM and CDMA postpaid users can subscribe to the service by dialing the default PIN code “0000” and “1234” respectively. And in order to activate the service, GSM customer need to dial *#331*PIN#, whereas to deactivate dial *331*PIN#, where the default PIN code is 0000. Similarly, to activate the service, CDMA postpaid customers need to dial *82 and for deactivation dial *820.
The customers can also use their own PIN by changing the default PIN code.
