NT Services Begin in Upper Dolpa

With the expansion of Nepal Telecom (NT) services, the people of Dho area in Upper Dolpa have received the services of the NT for the first time.

The NT has reached out to the area with the service of mobile phone in Dho area of Buddha Rural Municipality in Dolpa. The NT has installed a Micro BTS Namaste Tower in Dho village, the NT office said.

However, Saldang, Bhijer, Phoksundo, Chharka and dozens of other villages are still out telephonic reach in Dolpa district. Meanwhile, lawmaker and former minister Satya Pahadi has vowed to make best efforts to ensure communications access to the people in Dolpa.
