The phone has not officially launched in Nepal, but Nothing Nepal has already teased the phone on their social media handles, making its launch imminent.

Nothing has been on quite a roll lately. Most of their phones have hit that sweet spot: unique design, clean and minimal UI, solid cameras, and reliable value for money.

Back when CMF was still a direct subsidiary of Nothing, it carried that same philosophy forward with devices like the CMF Phone 2 Pro, blending style and substance at a great price.

But now that CMF has officially become an independent subsidiary, it seems Nothing wanted to reclaim some space in the budget market. So, what did they do? They seemingly took the CMF Phone 2 Pro, gave it a Nothing-style makeover, and voilà, we have the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite.

Under the hood, the Phone (3a) Lite is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro, the same chip you’d find in the CMF Phone 2 Pro and the Infinix Note 50s. It comes with 8GB of RAM and your choice of 128GB or 256GB storage, with microSD support for extra flexibility.

Photography gets a serious upgrade with a triple-camera setup: a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro lens. That’s a noticeable step up from the CMF Phone 2 Pro, giving you more versatile shooting options.

And of course, the Phone (3a) Lite doesn’t skimp on software. It runs Nothing OS 3.5 on top of Android 15, keeping the clean, minimal interface that fans of the brand love. It’s confirmed to receive the Android 16-based Nothing OS 4.0 update in early 2026, along with two additional OS upgrades. The device will also get six years of security updates.

For what it offers, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite really does seem like a solid deal. It packs a capable processor and a dependable battery, more than enough for its price point. Sure, it borrows most of its specs from the CMF Phone 2 Pro and skips out on the telephoto lens, but honestly, that’s not a dealbreaker.
