Nothing’s shaking things up again, but this time, it’s not another flashy flagship. Meet the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite, the company’s first-ever budget smartphone under its own name.

With the Nothing Phone (3a) and (3a) Pro already proving to be great value-for-money options, the (3a) Lite looks just as promising. It carries the same design DNA, clean software, and balanced performance.

The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite price in Nepal is Rs. 37,199 (8/128GB) and Rs. 42,499 (8/256GB).

The phone is officially available for pre-booking through all authorised retailers starting 13 November until the end of stock. Additionally, the first 100 customers to pre-order the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite will get a CMF Buds 2 Plus worth Rs. 8,999 for FREE!

Customers can also avail 0% EMI financing for the phone at select outlets.

Nothing has been on quite a roll lately. Most of their phones have hit that sweet spot: unique design, clean and minimal UI, solid cameras, and reliable value for money.

Back when CMF was still a direct subsidiary of Nothing, it carried that same philosophy forward with devices like the CMF Phone 2 Pro, blending style and substance at a great price.

But now that CMF has officially become an independent subsidiary, it seems Nothing wants to reclaim some space in the budget market. So, what did they do? They seemingly took the CMF Phone 2 Pro, gave it a Nothing-style makeover, and voilà, we have the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite.

Nothing Phone (3a) Lite Overview

Like most phones from Nothing, the Phone (3a) Lite sticks to the brand’s signature design language. It sports a transparent glass back, and at first glance, you wouldn’t peg it as a budget phone; it looks surprisingly premium.

The dimensions are mostly familiar with the CMF Phone 2 Pro; the only difference being that the Phone (3a) Lite is slightly thicker at 8.3mm. True to the lineup, it also features the Essential Key, keeping the same thoughtful design cues as its siblings.

Up front, you’re greeted by a massive 6.77-inch screen. The bezels are a touch thicker than high-end phones, but they’re symmetrical, giving the display a clean, balanced look. The Flexible AMOLED panel runs at FHD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is standard for a budget device. Brightness hits a peak of 3000 nits, or 1300 nits in HBM mode, making it easy to use even in bright sunlight.

Under the hood, the Phone (3a) Lite is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro, the same chip you’d find in the CMF Phone 2 Pro and the Infinix Note 50s. Just with different suffixes that really mean nothing. *no pun intended* It comes with 8GB of RAM and your choice of 128GB or 256GB storage, with microSD support for extra flexibility.

The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite features a triple-camera setup, comprising a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The photography side of things isn’t as attractive as the CMF Phone 2 Pro, which flaunts a 50MP dedicated telephoto lens — one of a kind at this price.

And of course, the Phone (3a) Lite doesn’t skimp on software. It runs Nothing OS 3.5 on top of Android 15, keeping the clean, minimal interface that fans of the brand love. It’s confirmed to receive the Android 16-based Nothing OS 4.0 update in early 2026, along with two additional OS upgrades. The device will also get six years of security updates.

The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite is a solid phone with a unique design and a capable processor. However, given the price Nothing Nepal put on this phone, CMF Phone 2 Pro with a telephoto lens at its disposal, still stands as the more attractive offering between the two.
