MWC, a well-known Nepali brand offering everything from earphones to power banks, has officially launched the MWC EarPods Pro 2.

At first glance, the design looks almost identical to the original MWC EarPods Pro. However, don’t let that fool you, the newer variant brings some genuinely impressive upgrades under the hood.
What is the Price of the MWC EarPods Pro 2 in Nepal?
MWC EarPods Pro 2 price in Nepal is Rs. 3,699, and is now available for purchase via authorised stores.
Now, although the EarPods Pro and the Pro 2 may look almost identical, MWC has quietly made some meaningful upgrades. The new buds come with a larger battery and support the latest Bluetooth version.
But that’s not all. MWC has also aggressively cut the price, from Rs. 6,499 for the original EarPods Pro down to just Rs. 3,699 for the EarPods Pro 2. That’s a massive drop and, at the very least, seriously impressive.
So, let’s take a closer look at what these new buds are actually made of.
MWC EarPods Pro 2 Overview
The MWC EarPods Pro 2 come in a familiar stemmed design with an in-ear fit, but the charging case is where things get interesting. It has a rather unique look, almost as if the entire case is wrapped in a transparent protective shell.

As for durability, the earbuds are IPX6-rated, which means they should handle sweat, rain, and even heavy splashes with ease. That said, MWC doesn’t clearly specify whether this rating applies to just the buds or the case as well.
Open the case, and you’re greeted by a distinctive light pattern on the front. At first glance, I assumed it would show charging or pairing status, but surprisingly, it doesn’t convey any information at all; it’s purely cosmetic. Looks cool, sure, but a bit of a missed opportunity.
Moving on to the earbuds themselves, the EarPods Pro 2 pack a 10mm driver for audio output and a total of six microphones dedicated to noise control. For calls, you get ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation), which helps reduce background noise so your voice comes through more clearly.

On top of that, there’s Hybrid ANC, which uses all six microphones to cancel out unwanted noise by up to 52dB. At this price point, that’s genuinely impressive.
Connectivity is another strong point. The EarPods Pro 2 support Bluetooth 6, and MWC also claims an ultra-low-latency gaming mode with delays as low as 35ms.
Finally, let’s talk battery life. Each earbud houses a 45mAh battery, while the charging case packs a 450mAh cell. According to MWC, the earbuds can deliver up to 7 hours of music playback on a single charge, and a massive 60 hours with the case at 50% volume.

At a price of Rs. 3,699, the MWC EarPods Pro 2 shape up to be a solid value-for-money option. It offers a decently sized driver for the price, and the inclusion of Hybrid ANC is a welcome surprise in this segment.
The battery capacity itself may seem a bit on the lower side on paper, but with the claimed music playback and talk time, it’s unlikely to be a real-world issue for most users.
