HIGHLIGHTS
- The Motorola Moto G35 price in Nepal has been bumped to Rs. 19,999 (4/128GB).
- The phone is powered by the UNISOC T760.
- The phone has a primary 50MP camera that can record up to 4K@30fps.
After launching in Nepal in 2025, the Motorola Moto G35 has received its first price hike in 2026. This is a bit of a letdown, as it was previously one of the strongest contenders in the Rs. 20,000 segment.

On the bright side, unlike many competitors that saw massive jumps, the G35’s increase was relatively minor. In fact, among the three Motorola models that saw price adjustments, the Moto G96, Moto G05, and Moto G35, the G35 received the smallest hike of them all.
What is the Price of Motorola Moto G35 in Nepal?
The Moto G35 5G price in Nepal now starts at Rs. 19,999 for the sole 4GB/128GB variant. Previously, the phone was launched at Rs. 18,999.
While a price hike is never ideal and naturally affects a phone’s overall value, it’s a relief that Motorola only increased the price of the G35 by Rs. 1,000. This minor adjustment keeps the phone within the competitive Rs. 20,000 price bracket. If you’re looking to buy one, it is available across leading e-commerce sites and authorized retail outlets nationwide.
The Moto G35 stands out from most other phones in its price range. It checks all the right boxes and more. It has a decent processor, a smooth display, a large battery, and the camera setup is not something you see on a budget phone.
Well, at least, that’s what it looks like on paper.
Let’s dive into the detailed specifications to see what the Moto G35 5G really brings to the table.

Moto G35 Overview
Design
Motorola is clearly taking the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” approach with the Moto G35’s design. It features a slightly elevated dual-camera module—something we’ve already seen on several Motorola phones like the Moto G05, G85, G45, and others.

At a glance, it’s nearly impossible to tell these models apart. Motorola’s signature vegan leather finish also makes a return here. But if that’s not your thing, there’s a variant with a standard plastic back too.
The phone is surrounded by a plastic frame, with the iconic Motorola logo stamped on the rear. Being a budget device, it’s no surprise that the Moto G35 still includes a 3.5mm headphone jack.
In design terms, Motorola calls it a “water-repellent design,” which is basically their way of avoiding the IP52 splash-resistant label.
The Moto G35 5G is available in stylish shades like Guava Red, Leaf Green, and Midnight Black.
Display
The Moto G35 features a 6.72-inch FHD+ display. Unfortunately, it’s an IPS LCD panel, so don’t expect deep blacks or ultra-punchy colors. But that’s forgivable, considering the only phone offering an OLED screen in this price range is the HMD Crest.
Where the G35 really shines is its 120Hz refresh rate, a solid plus for this segment. Surprisingly, the only other phones offering this are the ZTE Nubia V70 Design and Max, but those are limited to 4G, unlike the 5G-ready G35.
Personally, I think this creates a neat split for buyers here. You’re deciding between the punchy, color-rich OLED on the HMD Crest or the silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate on the Moto G35. It all comes down to what matters more to you: vivid visuals or smooth performance.
What makes this even more interesting is that both the G35 and HMD Crest share the same processor. So, let’s dive into what the hardware really brings to the table.
Hardware
This time around, Motorola has made the switch from a Snapdragon chipset to a UNISOC processor. But don’t let that fool you. It’s equipped with the UNISOC T760, a capable 5G chip that’s even more powerful than the Snapdragon 685 and the Helio G100.

Built on a 6nm process, the T760 features a Mali-G57 GPU and can clock speeds of up to 2.2GHz, similar to what we see on the Snapdragon 695.
However, the Moto G35’s 4GB RAM lags behind competitors like the HMD Crest and Ai+ Nova, all of which offer more than 4GB memory.
On the bright side, you do get 128GB of internal storage, which is solid for the price. And if you need more space, the phone supports microSD expansion of up to 1TB, which is way higher than HMD Crest’s 256GB microSD card support.
Camera
The Moto G35 5G sports a dual-camera setup on the back, led by a 50MP primary sensor capable of shooting 4K video at 30fps. It’s paired with a surprisingly good 8MP ultra-wide lens—something only the G35 offers at this price. While most budget phones stick to a basic depth sensor, Motorola deserves credit for including a functional and useful ultra-wide camera on the G35.
On the front, you get a 16MP punch-hole camera that’s great for selfies and video calls, and it can record 1080p videos at 30fps.
Compared to the competition, the HMD Crest didn’t quite impress us in the camera department during our review. And this is where the Moto G35 might have the upper hand.
Motorola phones typically deliver accurate colors, and if that trend continues, the G35 should hold up well, too. But of course, we won’t know for sure until we put it through some real-world testing.
Battery and OS
The Moto G35 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging via a USB-C 2.0 port.

On the software side, it runs on Android 14. Motorola keeps things simple and smooth here, offering a vanilla Android experience.
However, Android 14 in mid-2026 isn’t exactly exciting, especially considering Android 15 has been around for nearly a year now. With Android 16 already rolling out even on budget phones, sticking with Android 14 may feel a bit outdated.

In nearly every price segment—be it Rs. 10,000, Rs. 30,000, or Rs. 40,000—Chinese smartphones have been dominating the market. But with the arrival of the Moto G35, that might finally be changing.
The Moto G35 5G still makes a strong case for itself in the under Rs. 20,000 segment. Its smooth 120Hz refresh rate, paired with the UNISOC T760 chipset, outperforms almost every competitor in this price range.
Add to that the unique vegan leather back, and it definitely has its own charm. The only real competition here is the HMD Crest, which counters with an OLED display.
That said, the G35’s biggest drawback is its limited 4GB of RAM, which could be the one thing holding it back from being a category leader.
