The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has formally asked the local government to create their own mobile applications adding that the federal government would develop the applications free of cost.
The application will be used to share information and also receive the complaints of the local people. According to the department, the local governments have to submit basic information on which the applications will be based.
The applications will include some important features such as details of the government’s statistics, GIS resource map, laws, budget, plans, and other information regarding its staffs.
The application will be especially helpful to the general public as it will also contain various important information regarding the functions of the local department. For instance, the application will include what feature the local government can provide and the time-frames for various services, along with the service fee and information on the responsible service provider.
