Kick ZenBuds with a Built-In Display and ANC Launching on June 27!

Kick ZenBuds, a new pair of wireless earbuds, will be available for purchase in Nepal starting June 27, 2024.

The Kick ZenBuds are a new pair of TWS earbuds from Kick Lifestyle that feature 11mm audio drivers, a built-in display on the charging case, ANC, and a standby time of 120 hours on a single charge.

Kick ZenBuds Overview

Design

The Kick ZenBuds come with a pebble-shaped case that opens from the top. The upper half of the case features the Kick logo, while the lower half accommodates the display. On the rear, there is a rubber grip that helps in keeping the earbud case steady.

A metallic trim decorates the case, which has a uniform, matte finish. The USB-C charging port is located on the bottom of the case alongside a small button that turns the display on or off.

Moving to the earbuds themselves, they come in a classic TWS design, a roughly oval-shaped body attached to a stem. The dual-tone stem includes the Kick logo, LED indicators, touch controls, and a microphone grille whereas the main body houses the driver unit and the speakers.

The earbuds come fitted with silicone ear tips for a secure fit and more effective noise isolation and cancellation. They are also rated IPX7 water and sweat-resistant.

Display

Now, let us talk about the stand-out feature of these wireless earbuds, the display. The 40mm customizable LCD display of the Kick Zenbuds is surrounded by black bezels on all sides.

Apart from displaying battery as well as other statuses, you can use the display as a flashlight, act as a camera shutter, control music playback, control volume, and set alarms.

It also serves as a central interface to activate or deactivate features like ANC and transparency mode.

Features

Feature-wise, the Kick ZenBuds come packed with your typical TWS earbud features like seamless pairing, onboard controls, low-latency mode, and voice assistant activation.

What sets these buds apart is the inclusion of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), effective up to 42dB, and a built-in equalizer to change the sound profile of the earbuds.

Also, included is a hexa mic setup (3 on each earbud) that supposedly improves ENC and gives a better call quality alongside assisting during transparency mode.

Battery and Connectivity

The Kick ZenbBuds come with a 700mAh case battery that charges through a USB-C port. Kick claims that the battery can provide a standby time of up to 120 hours and a combined music playback of up to 60 hours on a single charge.

Additionally, with the earbuds’ ability to support SparkCharge, Kick claims that the Kick ZenBuds can give 5 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charge.

The TWS earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.4 to connect to your smartphone. The buds enter pairing mode without requiring any button presses. They offer compatibility with devices that have a wide range of operating systems, including Android, iOS, and Windows.

The Kick ZenBuds expected price in Nepal is around Rs. 5000. The earbuds will be available on e-commerce platforms and physical retailers starting June 27, 2024.
