The international conference on Information Technology for Development(IT4D) is going to be held from 3rd to 5th August, 2018 at Deerwalk Complex and Hotel Annapurana, Kathmandu. This is the fifth time the event is happening in Nepal.
Every year the conference has a theme. And this time the theme of the conference is same as of the previous years that is ‘e-Learning for Development’.
The organizers of the event have already listed the registration details. The registration fee is US $300 for foreign delegates, Rs 8000 for institutes, Rs 5000 for individuals and Rs 2000 for students. The fee includes high tea, lunch and hiking.

The deadline for registration has been set for 5th July, 2018.
In order to speak in the conference, interested people must submit their original research papers. The abstract registration deadline is on 15th February, 2018, and submission deadline is on 15th May, 2018.

IT4D is an interdisciplinary conference with a primary objective to serve as a platform for sharing knowledge, experience, and insights on how IT can be used for development. It intends to find different ways to make a significant jump in human and economic development by investing in the unprecedented opportunities through a sustainable and strategic use of IT.
The major purpose of the three-day conference is to bring together researchers/entrepreneurs from around the world who are interested in discovering the connection between ICT and e-Learning.
