Infinix was on an absolute roll in 2025, launching a whopping 11 phone models. However, it appeared the company lost some steam after the launch of Infinix GT 30, as there was no new release following it.

Well, it seems they were plotting their entry into a new product category the entire time. Yep! According to our sources, Infinix is launching a new tablet in Nepal — the Infinix XPAD 20 Pro.
What is the price of the Infinix XPAD 20 Pro in Nepal?
The Infinix XPAD 20 Pro price in Nepal is still unknown. However, it’s priced at ₱10,999 (4/128GB) and ₱12,999 (8/256GB) in the Philippines. Based on that, we can expect the XPAD 20 Pro to land at around Rs. 26,999 and Rs. 31,999 in Nepal for the same configurations.
The similarly specced Redmi Pad 2 starts at Rs. 24,999, so it would be ideal if the Infinix XPAD 20 Pro were a bit cheaper, given the few compromises Infinix has.
However, with the current RAM demand and overall price hike situation, that might be asking for too much. We’ll just have to wait and see where the final pricing lands
Regardless, Infinix bringing some steam to the not-so-happening Nepali tablet space is such great news. And doing so with something as attractively specced as the XPAD 20 Pro is a pro move on top of that.
“Attractively specced? What exactly are we getting with this tablet?”, you might be wondering. Let’s get into that:
Infinix XPAD 20 Pro Overview
Hardware
The Infinix XPAD 20 Pro is a chonker with a solid metal unibody and weighing over half a kilo. This thing does not have any official IP or durability-related rating, but Infinix says it has rigorously tested the tablet for key lifespan, drops, twists, and high and low temperature operation.
It has a large 12-inch IPS LCD on the front with 2K resolution, up to 90Hz refresh rate, and 16.7 million colour coverage. The tablet pairs the massive screen with a quad-speaker setup for the ultimate media consumption experience.
Under the hood is the MediaTek Helio G100, which is one of the best-performing 4G processors out there. Internationally, the Infinix XPAD 20 Pro is available in 4/128GB, 8/128GB, and 8/256GB. Moreover, the tab allows users to virtually double the memory capacity and add up to a terabyte of storage via a microSD card. And the best thing is, it’s a dedicated slot.
For the battery, we get an 8,000mAh cell, which, to be honest, felt a little low. Infinix managed to cram a 5,000mAh+ battery inside something as slim as the Hot 60 Pro+, so expecting a beefier battery on something as large as the Infinix XPAD 20 Pro isn’t unreasonable in my opinion.
The charging is fine too, at 18 watts. Talking of the cameras, we get an 8MP unit on the back and a 5MP snapper on the front. Let’s just say they’re there for formality, like with every other tablet.
Software
Moving on to the software side of things, the tablet boots on Android 15 with XOS skin on top. The company only mentions two years of security patches, which means we won’t be getting any OS upgrades. Bummer… but it is cushioned by some interesting software features.
It has built-in translation, summarisation, writing, and image generation features, all powered by AI, which are alright. But the features that caught my eye are the ecosystem ones. You can cast your phone screen onto the tablet. There is a shared clipboard feature too, which allows you to copy text on your phone and paste it directly into the tablet.
You may have already seen it coming, since I called it “ecosystem” features — they only work with select Infinix phones. Infinix also mentioned a seamless file-sharing feature, but it’s an Android device, so you already get Quick Share with it, which now even works with AirDrop too, so this feature is ehhhh… whatever.
Other than that, the tablet also comes with the “Learning Center” app, which features over 30,000 lessons for children aged 2 to 16. It also comes with a handful of parental controls.
All in all, the software features on the Infinix XPAD 20 Pro look interesting. It has a keyboard and pencil support too, which unfortunately does not seem to be coming to Nepal. The protective case, however, is included in the box.

Infinix XPAD 20 Pro is an interesting tablet that will hopefully be priced as aggressively as Infinix smartphones. If so, it will be one of the best midrange tablets you can get in Nepal right now. However, as with all devices, the tablet’s price is looming with uncertainty due to the surging RAM prices. Let’s wait and hope for the best!
