Over the past few months, Infinix has been on a roll, launching back-to-back banger phones that offer excellent price-to-performance. And now, they’re back with another one, the Hot 60i, the direct successor to last year’s Hot 50i.
The Infinix Hot 60i enters the crowded entry-level segment, where competition is surprisingly fierce. So, the big question is: can it hold its ground, or will it get lost in the crowd?
What is the Price of the Infinix Hot 60i in Nepal?
The Infinix Hot 60i price in Nepal is Rs. 14,499 (4/128GB) and Rs. 15,999 (6/128GB). It will be available for purchase across Nepal through authorized distributors and retail outlets after 20th July.
In a press release shared with us, Piyush Giri, NSM, Infinix Nepal, said, “Infinix believes that top-tier tech should be accessible to all. The HOT 60i brings powerful features, gaming-ready specs, and stunning visuals at a price that speaks directly to the youth of Nepal.”
The Infinix Hot 60i doesn’t stray far from its predecessor, the Hot 50i, at least in terms of core specs. And considering how poorly the Hot 50i performed in the global market, things aren’t exactly looking promising for the 60i either.
That said, I’m still cautiously optimistic. Infinix has recently been consistent in delivering solid value-for-money devices, and the Hot 60i’s standout 45W fast charging might just be the feature that turns things around. If marketed and priced right, this could very well be the phone’s redeeming factor.
Let’s dive into the detailed specs and features of the Infinix Hot 60i.

Infinix Hot 60i Overview
Design
Infinix is usually consistent with its design across the Smart, GT, and Note series, and the trend continues with the Hot series as well.
The Hot 60i, like other phones in the Hot lineup, looks the same, featuring a vertical camera module and three square camera cutouts. At this point, it’s like every brand took a look at Samsung’s A-series camera design, nodded in agreement, and said, “Yeah… let’s just change it just enough to not get caught copying.”
A plastic body is standard in this price range, but the inclusion of an IP64 rating is definitely a plus in my book—it adds an extra layer of protection that most budget phones skip.
Along the sides, you’ll find the usual volume rocker and power button. But this time, there’s also a dedicated AI button, which can be used to quickly launch the AI voice assistant or be customized to open a couple of apps of your choice.

Display
There’s nothing particularly new about the Infinix Hot 60i compared to its predecessor, the Hot 50i. It features the same 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, and the HD+ (720 x 1600 pixels) resolution remains unchanged.
The combination of a large screen and low resolution results in a pixel density of just 262 PPI, which means the display may not deliver sharp graphics or crisp text.
On the brighter side, Infinix has made a slight improvement in screen brightness, bumping it up to 700 nits in High Brightness Mode (HBM). While it’s not a dramatic leap, it’s still a step forward, though users may continue to struggle with visibility in bright outdoor environments.
Hardware
Under the hood, the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate SoC, built on a 12nm process, powers the device. Infinix has used the “Ultimate” label on several of its chips before, often without much to show for it.
But this time, there’s actually a small difference: the efficiency cores are clocked 0.1GHz higher than the standard G81. It’s not a massive leap, but at least there’s finally some justification for the “Ultimate” branding.
On the graphics side, the phone uses the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It comes in two configurations: either 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM, paired with 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage, which is also expandable via microSD.
Camera
Last year, with the Hot 50i, Infinix gave us a dual-camera setup, or so it seemed. In reality, there was only one functioning camera. And it looks like they’ve repeated the trick with the Hot 60i.
This time, it features a triple-camera module, but only one is real: a 50MP primary sensor. The second is an IR blaster, and the third is purely aesthetic, serving no real purpose.
Up front, the phone houses an 8MP selfie camera tucked into a hole-punch cutout, suitable for selfies and video calls. Interestingly, both the front and rear cameras support 2K video recording at 30FPS.
Battery and OS
The Infinix Hot 60i packs a 5,160mAh battery, which is fairly standard for its price range. However, Infinix has really stepped things up by upgrading the charging speed from 18W to a massive 45W.
On the software side, the Hot 60i runs XOS 15.1.1, built on top of Android 15.
Infinix Hot 60i Price in Nepal and Availability
The Infinix Hot 60i price in Nepal is Rs. 14,999 for the 4/128GB variant and Rs. 15,999 for the 6/128GB variant. It will be available for purchase across Nepal after July 20 through authorized distributors and retail outlets.
Infinix Hot 60i | Price in Nepal |
---|---|
4/128GB | Rs. 14,999 |
6/128GB | Rs. 15,999 |
To sum it up, the Infinix Hot 60i is, in most aspects, a near copy of its predecessor, the Hot 50i, which was already a fairly forgettable entry. However, Infinix has made one key upgrade that completely shifts the value proposition: the addition of 45W fast charging.
And honestly, it works. In a price segment where fast charging is still a rarity, Infinix made a smart move by keeping costs down elsewhere and focusing on a feature that users actually care about.
With this upgrade, the Hot 60i now directly competes with the Realme C63, which until now was the only phone in this segment offering 45W fast charging. It’s a strategic and effective update that gives the Hot 60i a much-needed edge.
