The updated GT 6 series is made of premium materials like sapphire and titanium alloy. Likewise, it brings new health features along with a virtual power meter, a first for a smartwatch. So, let’s take a closer look.
Huawei Watch GT 6 and 6 Pro Overview
The Huawei Watch GT 6 series has two models, the Huawei GT 6 in 41mm and 46mm, and the Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro, which comes only in 46mm.
The GT 6 has a stainless steel body, whereas the GT 6 Pro gets an aerospace-grade titanium alloy body and sapphire glass. Both models are rated IP69 and 5ATM water-resistant, allowing dives of up to 40 meters.

The 46mm models come with a 1.47-inch AMOLED display, which is 5.5% larger and over twice as bright as the Watch GT 5 Pro, reaching a peak brightness of 3,000 nits (up from 1,200 nits). Meanwhile, the 41mm GT 6 sports a 1.32-inch OLED display.

While Huawei hasn’t revealed the exact chipset or memory specs, it emphasizes the use of a new “high-silicon stacked custom-shaped battery.” These batteries use 10% more silicon and feature a non-rectangular design to fit better within the watch’s curved body.
This innovation allows the 46mm GT 6 Pro to last up to 21 days on a single charge (or 12 days with typical use). The 41mm model offers up to 14 days of light usage and 7 days of typical usage, all impressive figures compared to competitors.

Huawei has also revamped its TruSense System, improving accuracy, responsiveness, and reliability. The GT 6 Pro supports ECG readings and heart rate variability (HRV) measurements.
Fitness enthusiasts will particularly appreciate the new virtual power meter, a first for any smartwatch. It provides real-time power output data while cycling and even predicts the maximum power you can sustain for one hour without fatigue.
Additionally, the GT 6 series achieves up to 98% heart rate accuracy during cycling and 95% during trail runs, making it one of the most precise trackers in its class.
Other improvements include a new antenna design and advanced positioning algorithms, offering up to 20% better location accuracy with dual-band, multi-system GNSS support.
