Impressions
There is nothing so distinguishing about the specs in the Matebook X. But there are only a few windows laptops that check all the boxes for a “perfect notebook”. And surprisingly, in a short span of 2 years of making laptops, Huawei has been able to ‘almost’ top the list. Excellent Build. Check. Great Battery Life. Check. Extremely Portable. Check. Great Mouse/Keyboard. Check. For people who want a great experience with a laptop, and want the flexibility of a windows laptop, it should be a no-brainer to get this device.
The size of this device is the main selling point. Dimension-wise, this device is smaller than an A4 size paper. It comes in at a little over a kilogram. The XPS-like bezel-less display looks beautiful. The fan-less design keeps the device silent. The Chiclets style back-lit keyboard makes typing on this device an amazing experience. The touchpad that comes with windows precision drivers makes the tracking experience amazing. The fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button makes logging into the device extremely easy.
The point of listing these qualities is because it doesn’t have anything that we can complain about. The fact that Huawei has been able to release such a marvelous device in the short time of manufacturing laptops is astounding.
