Celtron Nepal, the distributor of Honor for Nepal, has launched the Honor X8 in Nepal. The Honor X8 was first announced in March 2022.

The Honor X8 price in Nepal is Rs. 29,990 (6/128GB). The phone is available at Honor authorised stores across Nepal or online at Daraz.

The phone entered Nepal with two other Honor X series phones: the Honor X7 and Honor X9. In this article, we will discuss the specifications and features of the Honor X8.

Honor X8 Overview

Design

The Honor X8 has a flat design and rounded corners. It is also a relatively thin and light device, measuring 7.45mm in thickness and weighing 177g.

The back has a square camera island with four camera circles and a flash in the middle. The device is available in three colours: Titanium Silver, Ocean Blue, and Midnight Black.

The power — which also doubles as a fingerprint sensor — and volume buttons are on the right side. Likewise, the bottom houses a 3.5mm headphone jack, a mic, a USB-C port, and a speaker.

Display

It has a 6.7-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with up to a 90Hz refresh rate. The display has a very narrow bezel and a punch-hole design notch, enabling a 93.6% screen-to-body ratio. The chin, however, is a bit bigger.

Hardware

The smartphone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset — the same chipset that also powers the less expensive Honor X7 and almost every other budget phone in 2022.

The chipset is based on an efficient 6nm process technology and has four 2.4 GHz Kryo 265 Gold based on Arm Cortex-A73 and four 1.9 GHz Kryo 265 Silver based on Arm Cortex-A53. The phone comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Camera

The rear has a quad-camera setup consisting of a 64MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide angle camera, a macro camera, and a depth sensor.

The front has a 16MP selfie camera. The device can shoot up to 1080p video.

Battery and OS

The Honor X8 comes with a 4000mAh battery and it supports 22.5W fast charging.

Furthermore, it runs on Android 11 topped with Magic UI 4.2. If you’re wondering, it also comes with Google Mobile Services.

The Honor X8 has the same processor as the less expensive Honor X7. The X8 has a better design, a Full HD+ 90Hz display, a 64MP main camera, and a 16MP selfie camera. The device is also lighter and thinner than the X7. However, the battery capacity is reduced to 4000mAh (the X7 has 5000mAh).
