Honor Choice True Wireless Earbuds Launched in Nepal

With lots of TWS launching right now, Honor Nepal has also launched a TWS; Honor Choice in Nepal. In recent weeks we have seen brands like Oppo, Realme, and Xiaomi launch their own TWS. And now, Honor is here with its TWS as well.

Honor Choice price in Nepal is Rs. 5,499 and is available in single white color.

Honor Choice TWS Overview

Design

Honor Choice TWS is an in-ear earbud and though it may look like Apple Airpods it does have a slightly different touch to it.

The case looks pretty general as it has a USB Type C charging on the back and has a single LED on the front. The case along with the earbud weighs 47.1g. Honor Choice is also IP54 Splash & Dust Resistance rated, so light splashes and sweat should not be a problem.

Audio & Controls

Honor Choice TWS uses a 7mm driver and Honor calls in the Advanced HD Driver system. Honor mentions that it produces clear vocals with clean deep bass and is tuned for clear mid and high tones.

Honor Choice TWS uses Dual-mic Noise Cancellation for phone calls. Each earbud has two earphones which reduce the ambient interference for clear voice calls.

As with most of the TWS, it has touch controls that work as below.

• Double Tap: Play/Pause Music, Answer/End Call
• Long Press: Reject an incoming call
• Tap and hold on left and release after a tone: Previous track
• Tap and hold on right and release after a tone: Skip to next track

Connection

Honor Choice TWS uses Bluetooth 5 but it doesn’t support multipoint. Honor mentions that it uses low-latency dual-channel transmission technology which can reduce the latency to as low as 130ms.

It also comes with Instant Auto Pairing. So, it will automatically connect to a paired smartphone after opening the case if you’ve already paired with it. It supports SBC and AAC audio codec.

Battery

Each earbud comes with a 55 mAh battery and the case has a 500 mAh battery.

Honor Choice TWS can provide up to 6 hours of music playback on a single charge on a 50% volume. They claim total playback of 24 hours as the case can provide 3 full charging cycles.

Honor Choice TWS price in Nepal is Rs. 5,499. It is available via authorized retail stores.

Honor Choice TWS looks like decent wireless earbuds for the price. The only gripes I have with this TWS is the lack of aptX codec support and also it doesn’t have a battery indicator for the case.
