The HONOR CHOICE Haylou Watch Enters Nepalese Market

Haylou, the Chinese manufacturer partnered with Honor’s product line, Choice, and globally launched the Honor Choice Haylou Watch in February 2024. The smartwatch has arrived in the Nepalese market as well.

The Honor Choice Haylou Watch is a mid-range device that comes with all your typical smartwatch functions. But, Honor has added some extra features like 5ATM water resistance, Always-on Display, one-click SOS, Bluetooth calling, and a 12-day battery.

Design and Display

Looking at the design, the smartwatch has a rounded-off square shape with a chamfer surrounding the 2.5D display glass.

The display of the Honor Choice Watch is a 1.95-inch AMOLED panel that has a resolution of 410 x 502 pixels. It has a maximum brightness of 550nits and a refresh rate of 60Hz. Honor has also added Alwyas-on mode to the display which makes it suitable to glance at time quickly.

For navigation, the watch has a crown on its side. The crown acts as the power on/off button and the home button but cannot be used for scrolling. Lastly, on the rear, you’ll find the speaker slot, the sensor array, and the charging points for the charger.

The body of the Honor Choice Haylou Watch has a claimed water resistance of 5ATM which makes it okay to use while swimming or doing water-based activities.

Health and Other Features

The smartwatch has the ability to monitor heart rate, track sleep, manage female health, and monitor blood oxygen levels. The watch also comes with 120 workout modes which are all collected and managed through the HONOR Health app.

Other features of the smartwatch include Bluetooth calling, phoneless distance tracking, activating voice assistant, one-click SOS, and controlling music playback. The watch also comes with a built-in GPS and has distance-tracking features. Meaning, you do not need to carry around your smartphone to measure how much distance you’ve run or traveled.

Lastly, the Honor Choice Haylou Watch comes with several pre-installed watch faces that can be customized to give your smartwatch a personalized feel.

Battery and Connectivity

The smartwatch comes with a 300 mAh Li-ion battery that lasts a claimed typical usage of 12 days, 9 days of heavy usage, and 5 days if you turn on the Always-on display. The battery is charged using a proprietary magnetic charging thimble.

To connect to your smartphone, the smartwatch comes with Bluetooth 5.3.
