Gionee M15 with Helio G90 and 48MP Camera Launched in Nepal

Gionee has launched the Gionee M15 in Nepal.

Gionee M15 price in Nepal is Rs. 23,699 for the 6GB+128GB variant and Rs. 27,499 for the 8GB+128GB variant. It comes in two colors: Pinkish Blue and Normcore Grey.

The M15 is a new mid-range phone from Gionee which was introduced in May 2021. It was first launched in Nigeria for NGN 90,800 (approx NPR 26,250).

Gionee M15 Overview

Design

Gionee M15 is using a polycarbonate back with a matte finish. On the rear, it has a quad-camera setup and a fingerprint sensor.

On the front, it gets a hole punch right in the middle of the screen. It comes in two colors: Grey and Blue.

Display

In terms of display, M15 is using a 6.67 inches FHD+ IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.

It is a standard 60Hz display with a 20:9 display ratio and 395 PPI pixel density.

Hardware

Powering the M15 is the MediaTek Helio G90 chipset paired with 128GB storage and 6/8GB RAM.

G90 is the standard version of the G90T that we have seen on phones like Realme 6 and the Redmi Note 8 Pro. It has an Octa-core (2×2.05 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) CPU and Mali-G76 MC4 GPU.

Camera

Gionee M15 has a quad-camera setup on the rear with a 48MP main sensor, a 5MP ultrawide angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.

On the front, it gets a 16MP sensor for selfies. Both rear and front cameras can capture up to 1080p 30fps.

Battery

M15 is equipped with a 5100mAh battery and 18W Fast Charging. Gionee mentions that the 18W charger can charge the M15 from 0 to 100% in 3 hours.

Furthermore, it runs on Android 11.

Gionee M15 price in Nepal starts at Rs. 23,699 for the 6GB+128GB variant. It is available via authorized stores across Nepal.

Gionee M15 looks like a decent phone with good hardware. But, there are lots of phones with great hardware and camera in this segment.

So, it will be tough for Gionee M15 to go up against its competitors.
