Hansraj Hulaschand & Co., the authorized distributor of KTM bikes in Nepal, has unveiled the price of the highly anticipated KTM Duke 390 for the Nepali market.

KTM Nepal has opened up pre-booking for interested individuals. With the official price reveal, it means that the official launch is only a few weeks away.

According to the KTM representative, the KTM 390 Duke has already arrived at KTM’s assembly plant in Nepal, undergoing proper testing before its official launch.

KTM Duke 390 gets an upgraded Engine, Trellis Frame, Hollow Alloy Wheels, Compact Styling, Riding Modes, Launch Control, Higher Ground Clearance, and more.

KTM Duke 390 maintains its sharpness and aggressive styling.

Performance

KTM Duke 390 is powered by a 398.7cc, Single-Cylinder, Liquid-cooled, DOHC FI engine. It can generate a max power of 46 PS at 8500 rpm and a max torque of 39 Nm at 6900 rpm.

Moreover, it is mated to an improved 6-speed gearbox with 15 liters of fuel capacity.

Importantly, the engine displacement has increased by 25.5cc but with a lower compression ratio.

By doing this, it ensures rider-friendly performance at the lower rev range while increasing the overall powertrain numbers. 

KTM claims this engine to have more power, smoother acceleration, and an optimized cylinder head.

KTM introduces Launch Control and Traction Control for the very first time with Duke 390.

Launch control helps riders get off to a fast start by managing the engine’s RPM while they fully open the throttle and release the clutch, maximizing acceleration.

Surprisingly, KTM 390 offers three riding modes: Street Mode, Rain Mode, and Track Mode. 

Street Mode is for normal city commuting, Rain Mode for enhanced control in the wet by limiting the engine to 9000 rpm, and Track Mode for maximum possible performance.

Riders can only use the Launch Control option in the Track Mode. However, Launch Control can only be unlocked after riding it for over 1000km.
