Build & Design
DJI Mini 2 has a similar exterior design as the original Mini. The Mini 2 measures 249g and when folded it can fit into a jacket pocket. The remote is slightly bigger on the Mini 2 as it features a more advanced wireless connection and stronger antennas.
The camera sensor on the Mini 2 matches the Mini in terms of FOV, aperture, and still resolution. It features a 12MP 1/2.3″ sensor. However, it gets an upgrade in terms of video as the Mini 2 can do 4K instead of 2.7K.

DJI Mini 2 has a bigger 1/2.3-inch sensor that can capture videos up to 4k 30fps. And, it can take 12MP images.
The DJI Mini 2’s camera is mounted at the front on a 3-axis gimbal that ensures consistent image quality. It also has a 4X zoom that is lossless when recording at 2.7k.

IT features plenty of modes such as Dronie, Helix, Rocket, Circle, and Boomerang. Furthermore, you can select from wide-angle, 180 degrees, and Sphere Panoramas as well.

DJI Mini 2 carefully optimizes user experience and intelligent features. Thanks to Smart Return to Home, automatic takeoff, and precise hovering, the operation is more streamlined and safer than ever.
DJI Mini 2 has an improved flight time. DJI claims 31 mins of max flight time in ideal conditions. Furthermore, it also has an extended range of over 10 Km.
The flight control app, DJI Fly, includes a Find My Drone feature that shows the location of the aircraft’s last known position. There are a number of auto and semi-auto flight paths such as circle, corkscrew, or pull back and away.
