Django Girls Organizes Free Programming Workshop for Women

“Girls in technology” is one of the most discussed topic in the field of computer science nowadays. Everyone is worried about insignificant presence of women in the field of technology, though the numbers are increasing, but the increase rate is really slow. Thus, to influence girls in technology, many events has been conducted in recent days and every event has been successful to some extent.

To give continuation to this phenomena “djangogirls” have decided to conduct a new event in Pokhara on 25^th September 2015. Females who are interested to make a website can participate in this event. As a website is one of the simplest yet important aspect of modern day communication they have decided to conduct a website building event. It is said to be a beginner’s workshop thus, the participants do not need to have any technical knowledge to participate in the event.

However, there are some prerequisites to participate such as, participants need to have their own laptop. There will be mentors who will take the participants through each phase, including the installation of software, i.e. Django.

Interested participants can apply in the event by registering on their official website. In addition to that, Django are also searching for coaches for the vent, so anyone who has sound knowledge in building website can join the event as coach.
