11.11, the largest shopping carnival of the world has come to an end. On that note, Daraz, Nepal’s leading ecommerce platform has also conducted its 2nd ever 11.11 Sale. The 2nd celebration after being acquisitioned under Alibaba, has brought some fruitful results for Daraz. Fruitful in the sense that, they’ve managed to rack up quite a number of records in just a single day!

As per reports shared by Daraz Nepal, the company saw the sales of over 1.5 Lakh products out of which 40% products have left the sellers already for delivery. With orders coming in from more than 24 cities, there were a huge 3.5 Lakhs registered users, and a mammoth sized 52,33,344-page views! Statistically, there was an increase of 75% as compared to that of 2018.
Is that it? Well, apparently not!
This year’s 11.11 hosted more than 3000 sellers and more than 50,000 customers. Among the top participating sellers were international brands like Xiaomi, Samsung, Adidas, Titan, J. Fisher, Sonam Gears and many more.
Two of the records that stood out the most were the one where the first order was placed within 1 second of the campaign. And the other was the one where 8000 orders were placed in a single hour!

For those people who really missed out the 11.11 Day sale, there’s no need to be sad. Why? Well that’s because most of the participated brands are still giving away the same discounts.
