
Chinese smartphone company Coolpad is set to make its entry in the Nepali mobile market. Jaima International which is also the official distributor of OTTO smartphone has been selected as the sole official distributor of Coolpad smartphone in Nepal.
Headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong, Coolpad is one of the largest smartphone company in China. It is also one of the largest Chinese domestic brands by sales outside of China.
Talking to us in a press meet held on Feb. 12, the officials of Jaima International confirmed that the Coolpad will officially land in Nepal from today.
The company has organized a launch event today at Hyatt Regency, Kathmandu, where it will unveil the first batch of Coolpad smartphones in the Nepali market.
According to a news published in GadgetByte Nepal, Coolpad Note 5 and Coolpad Mega 2.5D smartphone are confirmed to be launched in Nepal.
The Nepali smartphone market is moving up in a hasty way. Chinese smartphones are swamping the Nepali market with their top-drawer products at a reasonable price. Many Chinese smartphones have stepped into this market in recent years and performing very well. So, it elicits to say that in this environment Coolpad will definitely face the heat and a tough competition from other smartphone brands who have laid down a strong base in the market. It will be exciting to see how Coolpad performs in Nepal.
