CMF Buds Pro 2 with Customizable Smart Dial Launched in Nepal

CMF, the more budget-focused sub-brand by Nothing, recently announced the launch of its new TWS earbuds, the CMF Buds Pro 2. It has launched in Nepal as well.

The CMF Buds Pro 2, successor to the CMF Buds Pro, comes with an updated design language and features such as ANC, in-ear detection, Hi-Res audio, ChatGPT integration, customizable controls, fast charging, IP55 dust/water resistance, and fast pairing.

CMF Buds Pro 2 Overview

Design

The CMF Buds Pro 2 now comes in a rectangular clamshell design, replacing the circular case of its predecessor.

At the top left corner of the case is a new feature called the Smart Dial—a clickable and rotatable dial that serves a functional purpose and lights up when in use. The CMF logo is printed on the bottom right corner of the lid.

Moving to the front of the case, there is the charge LED and on the right of the earbud case, you’ll find the USB-C charging port.

Opening the case, you’ll be greeted by the earbuds and a Bluetooth pairing button. There is some text printed as well on the sandblasted texture plastic of the CMF Buds Pro 2.

Talking about the earbuds, the earbuds too come in the same color as the case. The earbuds house the 11mm titanium-coated PU + PET driver alongside the 6mm titanium-coated PU tweeter inside the oval-shaped housing. The earbuds are certified IP55 dust and water-resistant.

Finally, the stem has an elongated pill-like shape and houses the touch controls, microphones, and the earbud battery. The earbud stems have the CMF logo printed as well.

Features

Besides providing your basic onboard music controls, low latency mode (<120ms), voice assistant activation, call answering, and ENC, the CMF Buds Pro 2 comes with some unique features as well.

The earbuds have a Hybrid ANC, which can reduce ambient noise by up to 50dB. They also feature a triple microphone setup on each earbud, allowing users to hear external sounds when using transparency mode.

The Smart dial is customizable for tasks like volume adjustment, playback control, and managing noise cancellation settings, all configurable through the Nothing X app.

Each earbud utilizes dual 11mm and 6mm drivers to enhance sound separation and is tuned to produce a spatial sound effect.

Some other nifty features of the earbuds are the integration of ChatGPT, customizable equalizer, and ear detection.

Battery and Connectivity

CMF has equipped the CMF Buds Pro 2 with a 460mAh battery in the case and a 60mAh battery in each earbud. The earbuds offer a total playback time of up to 26 hours with active noise cancellation (ANC) enabled, extending to 43 hours with ANC turned off.

Moreover, thanks to fast charging through the USB-C port, the earbuds can deliver 3 hours of continuous playback with ANC off and 1.8 hours with ANC on after only a 10-minute charge.

To connect to your smartphone or any playback device, the earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.3. They offer compatibility with various operating systems, including Android, iOS, and Windows. The earbuds can also connect to two devices simultaneously.

Another connectivity feature of the earbuds is the inclusion of Google’s Fast Pair and Microsoft’s Swift Pair which helps to connect the earbuds to your device quickly.

The CMF Buds Pro 2 price in Nepal is Rs. 9,599. It is available for purchase CG authorized offline stores and on e-commerce sites like Daraz and CG Digital.

Priced in the upper mid-range segment, the CMF Buds Pro 2 builds upon its predecessor with a refreshed design. It includes features like active noise cancellation, in-ear detection, customizable controls, fast charging, IP55 dust and water resistance, as well as quick pairing.
