boAt Enigma X400 with AMOLED Screen and Metal Frame Launched in Nepal

India’s popular consumer electronics brand boAt has launched its new watch named the boAt Enigma X400. And Nepal is the first country in the world to get it.

boAt has lately been launching many new wearable devices including earbuds and smartwatches. The recently launched boAt Lunar Link and boAt Wave Hype were also launched in Nepal before the world. And now, the boAt Enigma X400 is here.

The boAt Enigma X400 is a more premium smartwatch than the two. It has an AMOLED display, a metal body design, and supports Bluetooth calling. Let’s see what other features the Enigma X400 brings.

Design and Display

The boAt Enigma X400 has gone with a premium look with its circular design and metal frame and strap, giving it the appearance of a traditional watch. While the company has not revealed the back side of the watch, it likely houses the sensors and charging pins. Given this, the back must be made of plastic.

The right side of the watch has two buttons and a digital crown. The crown can be used to interact with the watch, such as scrolling up and down. Additionally, for protection against dust, water, and sweat, the watch is IP67 certified.

The watch has a 1.45-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. The company claims it has a brightness of 600 nits. The watch also boasts an always-on-display (AOD) that continuously shows the time without requiring the watch to be awakened from sleep.

Health and Other Features

The watch offers basic health features, including heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen monitoring, sleep monitoring, guided breathing, daily activity tracking, and over 100 sports modes.

The Enigma X400 is equipped with a built-in speaker and microphone, allowing users to make calls directly from the watch when connected to a phone via Bluetooth.

Users can store up to 10 contacts on the watch and can also dial numbers directly from it. Other typical features found in such watches include Find My Phone, notifications, alarms, countdown timers, camera controls, music controls, and weather updates. Additionally, the watch can activate voice assistants, including Google Assistant and Siri.

Battery and Connectivity

boAt Enigma X400 includes a 390mAh battery, which can last up to 7 days on a single charge, according to boAt. It charges via magnetic pogo pins.

For connectivity, the watch supports Bluetooth 5.3. Users can install the boAt Wearables app on Android and iOS devices to set up the watch.

The boAt Enigma X400 price in Nepal is Rs. 6,599. It is currently offered at a discounted rate of Rs. 4,999, reflecting a 24% discount on Daraz.

boAt’s Enigma series of watches offers a more premium design compared to its other smartwatches, such as the Wave and Lunar series, featuring classic watch designs with metal frames. The Enigma X400 comes with a circular AMOLED screen, a digital crown, a Bluetooth calling feature, and basic health features.
