Best Phones Under 50000 in Nepal (December 2025 Updated)

Rs. 50,000 is no small sum. And before spending that much on a smartphone, you’d want to do a fair amount of research to make the best possible choice. Well, we’ve done all the hard work for you—that’s exactly why we’ve put together this list of the “Best Phones Under Rs. 50,000 in Nepal.”

Best Phones Under 50000 in Nepal

What to Expect?

At the Rs. 50,000 price point, it really comes down to which phone excels in which category. Some phones focus on top-tier hardware, others offer the best camera setups, and some stand out with blazing-fast charging.

That said, none of the phones in this price range are “bad” per se. Each one shines in certain areas, often offering at least one feature that feels closer to a semi-flagship—or maybe even a full flagship.

So, what can you realistically expect at this price? You can expect solid phones, whether it’s in performance, camera quality, battery life, or charging speed.

Almost all phones in this segment come with an AMOLED display and at least a 5,000mAh battery, more than enough charging speed, and good camera performance.

All of these phones also provide a good number of years of software support and updates. And since you’re spending close to Rs. 50,000, you’d definitely want a device with longer OS support if you plan to use it for several years.

With that out of the way, let’s start with the list.

*While this list is for the best phones under 50000 in Nepal, it may contain phones that exceed the price tag by up to Rs. 2,000. This is so that you don’t miss out on a solid choice due to a technicality.

5. Samsung Galaxy A36

Samsung Galaxy A36

The Galaxy A36 is a budget offering from Samsung. It comes with a proper camera setup, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 and a massive 6 years of OS upgrade. However, the specs are not that great for the price.

5,000mAh | 45W Fast Charging

Pros

  • Good software support
  • Great ingress and display protection

Cons

  • Low internal storage
  • A little bit pricier for performance

Thoughts on Samsung Galaxy A36

Just looking purely at the specs, the phone isn’t exactly top-tier. It runs on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, which performs similarly to phones in the Rs. 40,000 segment, like the Infinix GT 30 or the CMF Phone 2 Pro.

For 49K, it only comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. So, if you want more internal storage, you’ll have to increase your budget to Rs. 55,000. Bummer.

It has a trio of cameras, a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 5MP macro lens. The display quality is excellent! After all, we are talking about Samsung here. The same company with a massive presence in the TV and monitor market as well. So it’s no surprise that the display on this phone is also quite good. However, the bezels could see some trimming.

It has a 5,000mAh battery and recently upped the charging speed to 45W, putting it on a competitive distance with its similarly priced peers. You may have already found Samsung Galaxy A36’s specs to be mid at best, so why does it end up on our list of best phones under Rs. 50,000 in Nepal?

Honestly, it wouldn’t have cut if it weren’t for Samsung’s brand value and OS support. Samsung is a reliable name with a strong brand presence, something many buyers actively look for. On top of that, the Galaxy A36 comes with a massive 6 years of OS upgrades, which is its most eye-catching aspect and something no other phone on this list can match.

So, if you’re looking for a phone with solid brand value and long-term software support, the Galaxy A36 will do the trick. Just keep in mind that you won’t be getting the best performance or camera setup with it.

4. Redmi Note 14 Pro+

Redmi Note 14 Pro+

The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is the most expensive phone in the entire Note 14 series. And being the top-end model of the lineup, its specs are quite decent too, featuring a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC paired with a crisp 1.5K AMOLED display.

PRICING

Rs. 49,999 (8/256GB) | Rs. 54,999 (12/512GB)

KEY SPECS
6.67” 120Hz 1.5K AMOLED
Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3
200MP+8MP+2MP | 20MP
5,110mAh | 120W Fast Charging

Pros

  • High-resolution display
  • 120W fast charging
  • Available in 512GB

Cons

  • Baked-in ads and b loatware

Thoughts on Redmi Note 14 Pro+

Redmi is another brand with a strong market presence, and the standout highlight of most Redmi phones is that they offer some of the best specs for the price.

When the Note 14 Pro+ launched about a year ago, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 was one of the most powerful chips in the segment. But since its release, Nepal has seen a wave of smartphones that outshine the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ in terms of raw performance. So, when comparing just the SoC, it’s quite hard to recommend the 14 Pro+ today.

That said, the rest of the specs remain top-notch, with a crisp 1.5K AMOLED display and a 200MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro.

The only thing I’d genuinely complain about is the ads and bloatware, though, to be fair, that’s something you can’t really escape with most Xiaomi phones.

The battery is fairly standard at 5,110mAh, similar to what you see on most smartphones. But the charging speed is where Redmi flexes the most! You get a 120W fast charging, which no other phone in this list comes close to offering.

However, as mentioned earlier, the phone is nearly a year old at this point, and the new Redmi Note 15 series is just around the corner. So if you’re planning to buy a new phone, it’s better to wait for the upcoming Note 15 lineup or pick a newer alternative instead.

3. Nothing Phone (3a)

Nothing Phone (3a)

The Nothing Phone (3a) is a near-perfect midranger that genuinely tries to bring flagship-like features down to a more lower price. First, it packs a telephoto lens, something almost unheard of in this segment. And second, you get that signature Nothing software experience with clean Android, no bloatware*, and no ads*.

PRICING

Rs. 51,999 (8/128GB) | Rs. 52,999 (8/256GB) | Rs. 59,999 (12/256GB)

KEY SPECS
6.77” 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED
Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3
50MP+50MP+8MP | 32MP
5,000mAh | 50W Fast Charging

Pros

  • Dedicated Telephoto Lens
  • Clean OS
  • Quirky design

Cons

  • Low internal storage
  • Pricier than the competition

Thoughts on Nothing Phone (3a)

The Nothing Phone (3a) has fairly standard specs and sits in a similar performance ballpark as some other options in this list. But the real headline? That 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. In this entire list, it’s the only phone offering a proper telephoto camera! The only other phone to offer something similar under Rs. 50,000 is the CMF Phone 2 Pro. Furthermore, the 50MP main and 8MP ultrawide shooters make it “THE Camera Phone” in this segment.

The display looks standard at first, but then you notice the perfect symmetry of its bezels—a rare sight in this price range. Likewise, I love how the Nothing Phone (3a)’s design is such a conversation starter, with its unique transparent back and those flashy glyph lights.

And of course, the biggest charm of any Nothing phone is its software. With the recent update, NothingOS isn’t as bloatware-free and ad-free as before. However, the pre-installed apps are common ones you’d likely use anyway, and the ads are minimal and can be easily disabled.

There are so many good things about this phone, but there is ONE catch — it’s a bit pricier than the competition.

While it starts in a similar ballpark to the competition, you only get the base 128GB option at the price. This inherently makes Nothing Phone (3a) the most expensive phone among the bunch.

To make matters even more difficult, the Phone (3a)’s price was recently hiked up to Rs. 51,999 from its initial launch price of Rs. 47,999. Yes, that pushes it above the Rs. 50,000 mark, but with so many unique features going for it, it feels criminal to leave it out. It does get affordability points deducted, and sits as the bronze medalist despite being the most balanced phone in our best phones under Rs. 50,000 in Nepal list.

2. OnePlus Nord CE 5

OnePlus Nord CE 5

The OnePlus Nord CE 5 is the latest addition to OnePlus’ midrange lineup, and it brings some genuinely great value to the table. It runs on a processor that offers excellent performance for the price, and it backs that up with a massive battery and impressive fast charging speeds.

PRICING

Rs. 48,999 (8/256GB)

KEY SPECS
6.77” 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED
MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex
50MP+8MP | 50MP
7,100mAh | 80W Fast Charging

Pros

  • Massive battery
  • Great performance
  • Nice software

Cons

  • Mono speakers

Thoughts on OnePlus Nord CE 5

With the launch of the Nord CE 5, OnePlus Nepal has finally broken away from its trend of slapping sky-high prices on new releases.

And the phone backs that up with genuinely impressive hardware. Starting with performance, the Dimensity 8350 Apex is hands-down the most powerful processor you can get in this price segment. Not only does it comfortably outshine every competitor in this price range (apart from our top pick on this list), but it also holds its own against various phones in the 70k bracket.

The rest of the specs are fairly standard for the category, then there’s the battery! OnePlus went all-in with a massive 7,100mAh cell paired with 80W fast charging. In this department, the competition isn’t just behind — they’re miles away. In fact, this phone had the largest battery among all the phones in Nepal, until the Honor X9d showed up.

Similarly, the software isn’t bad either. OxygenOS, with its buttery smooth animations, is considered to be one of the better skins of Android. It does have some pre-installed apps, but it’s not that bad to be an issue.

One thing that doesn’t sit quite right with this phone is the lack of dual speakers. As such, media consumption on the OnePlus Nord CE 5 lacks a bit of that oomph.

All in all, if you’re looking for a phone that delivers strong performance, excellent battery life, and a dependable camera setup, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 will not disappoint you.

Lastly, THE Best Phone Under 50000 in Nepal is…

1. Infinix GT 30 Pro

Infinix GT 30 Pro

The Infinix GT 30 Pro is a gaming-focused phone that punches well above its weight. It’s powered by the Dimensity 8350 Ultimate and pairs that with a sharp 1.5K AMOLED display. But what really sets it apart is the inclusion of wireless charging.

PRICING

Rs. 47,999 (8/256GB) | Rs. 49,999 (8/256GB) With Kit | Rs. 53,999 (12/256GB) With Kit

KEY SPECS
6.78” 144Hz 1.5K AMOLED
MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate
108MP+8MP | 13MP
5,500mAh | 45W Fast Charging, 30W Wireless Charging

Pros

  • 1.5K resolution display
  • Great performance
  • Wireless charging
  • Gaming triggers

Cons

  • Only two years of OS upgrade

Thoughts on Infinix GT 30 Pro

Infinix GT 30 positions itself as the gaming phone in the segment, and as such, you get a bold mecha-style design along with an RGB LED light ring at the back. It’s definitely eye-catching, though the aesthetic won’t be everyone’s cup of tea.

The Infinix GT 30 Pro runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate, the same chip used in the OnePlus Nord CE 5. The Nord’s version carries the “Apex” suffix, but in reality, both chips are pretty much identical in day-to-day and gaming performance. And we have already talked about how good this chip performs.

It has a 5,500mAh battery coupled with 45W fast charging, which looks alright. But this phone has a trick up its sleeve… a full 30W wireless charging support. A feature like this is usually reserved for flagship-grade phones! It’s no “MagSafe”, but you could emulate a similar result with a gaming kit that Infinix is selling, which includes a MagCase and a MagCharge Cooler.

However, the phone isn’t perfect, like you may have guessed already. The issue lies in the software. Infinix’s XOS on itself is just fine, actually. It’s more of a future-proofing issue, as it only offers 2 years of OS upgrades, which is the least amount of support we see in this list.

Honourable Mentions

So, those were our top 5 smartphones under 50000 in Nepal. Now, let’s jump into some honourable mentions of phones that just missed the list, or at least deserve a shout-out!

Motorola Edge 50 Fusion

Motorola Edge 50 Fusion

The Motorola Edge Fusion doesn’t quite make the “Under Rs. 50,000” list, but it does bring style and a few solid features. Its standout is the design, with a vegan suede/leather finish that breaks away from the usual glass slabs. The curved pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate also adds a premium touch.

What holds it back is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, which trails behind rivals in this segment. So while it looks premium, the performance falls short.

Rs. 46,499 (12/256GB)

Honor X9c

Honor X9c

Honor’s X9c is the textbook definition of a “stone wall”, launched with the “Toughest Smartphone in Nepal” tagline. It certainly leaned heavily on the durability aspect, boasting a range of certifications and a massive 6,600mAh battery — the largest in Nepal at launch. We put many of its durability claims to the test in our review video of the Honor X9c.

While its build may have been crackproof, the rest of its specs were… full of cracks. It had underwhelming specs for the price, and it will soon be replaced by its successor anyway, keeping the X9c off the main list.
