Asus Launches Dual Screen Laptops in Nepal, Price Starts at 1.95 Lakhs

Dual-screen laptops are finally available in Nepal. Asus ZenBook Pro Duo wowed the international audience and courtesy to Nagmani International, it is finally available in Nepal as well. Asus has launched Asus ZenBook Pro Duo UX581 along with Zenbook Duo UX481.

Asus ZenBook Duo UX481

Asus ZenBook Duo is the non-pro version of the ZenBook Duo. It is a 14-inch ultraportable laptop designed for workflow efficiency with the inclusion of full-width second screen called as ScreenPad Plus.

It has a 14inch 1080P IPS primary display with a 100% DCI-P color gamut. Similarly, the secondary screen is a 12.6 inches touch display.

As for hardware specs, ZenBook Duo gets 2 CPU options: Intel i7-10510U processor & Intel i5-10210U processor. In terms of GPU, it comes with Nvidia GeForce MX250 with 2GB VRAM. As for memory, it comes with a RAM option up to 16GB and 1TB SSD for storage

Zenbook Duo enjoys the inclusion of an SD card reader which is not included in the Pro version and it comes with a 75Wh battery along with a 65W power adapter.

Zenbook Duo is a laptop intended towards casual users who want to use dual screens on their laptops for multitasking. However, it won’t suffice the needs of power users due to its specifications.

Asus ZenBook Pro Duo UX 581 is the pro version of the ZenBook Duo UX481 and it means business. Serious business!

It has massive power as it can be configured up to an 8-core i9 9980HK processor along with and RTX 2060 6GB.

It has a primary 4K OLED touch panel that measures 15.6 inches and a secondary 4K touch panel. The primary and secondary displays are touch displays in this version. The primary display has a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and 133% sRGB coverage. This thing is made for content creators.

The keyboard has been shifted downwards because of the display and sits right above the CPU and GPU. Thus, it uses an ergo lift mechanism to create a gap between the laptop and the surface beneath.

The laptop has been built superb but the top surface catches fingerprint easily and it isn’t great to look at. The laptop itself measures 2.5 Kg and measures 3.3 Kg along with the charger.

In terms of memory, it has 32GB RAM and comes with 1TB SSD for storage. The thing that’s not great is that it is missing a card reader. For a laptop that is not thin and light, it should have had the card reader.

ZenBook Pro Duo has a 71Wh battery and gives roughly 3 hours of battery life with moderate usage.

Conclusion

Asus ZenBook Duo and ZenBook Pro Duo is the creator’s dream. It’s a nice idea to have dual screens on a laptop that combines portability and multitasking. Pro Duo combines power and multitasking and it sure looks appealing. However, this laptop is not for everyone and not anyone can afford it.
