ASUS Nepal Launches ZenBook 14 UX425 with Impressive Battery Life

Asus Nepal has launched ZenBook 14 UX425 in Nepal along with ZenBook 13. These are the latest addition to an impressive ZenBook lineup. Recently, they have also launched VivoBook S15 S553.

Asus Zenbook 14 UX425 price in Nepal is Rs. 127,777 and is available in the i5 variant. It is available at retail stores and nagmani.com.np.

Asus ZenBook 14 UX425 Overview

Design

The ZenBook 14 is as same as the ZenBook 13. the only change we get is in the size and weight. Else, it’s the same laptop. Though it is bigger it is still thin at 13.9mm and weighs just 1.13 kg.

The laptop comes with two Thunderbolt ports both of which support Power Delivery and DisplayPort via USB-C. They support fast charging, up to two 4K UHD external displays for an expanded visual workspace, and up to 40 Gbps data speeds for ultrafast file transfers. Then it has a full-size HDMI port, a USB Type-A port, and a micro SD reader.

The new ZenBook 14 comes with a new edge-to-edge ergonomic keyboard design that increases the size of the keyboard for a more comfortable typing experience. It also creates space for an extra set of useful function keys at the right-hand side of the keyboard.

Furthermore, it is also using the ErgoLift hinge mechanism which tilts the keyboard to an optimum angle when the lid is open and creates a space under the laptop for better airflow.

The ZenBook 14 is also using ASUS NumberPad 2.0 which is a dual function touchpad with an integrated LED-illuminated full-size numeric keypad. Simply tap the icon on the touchpad turns the NumberPad on and off.

Display

ASUS Zenbook 14 has a 14-inch matte display with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It uses a good IPS panel with a good viewing angle and a peak brightness of 300 nits.

The bezels on the ZenBook 14 are very thin and ASUS calls it NanoEdge display which boasts a screen-to-body ratio of 90%.

Hardware

ASUS ZenBook 14 UX425 is equipped with a 10th Gen Intel Core-i5-10357 processor, 8GB 3200 MHz LPDDR4x RAM, and 512GB PCIe NVMe Gen 3 SSD.

The latest 10th Generation Intel® Core™ processors in ZenBook 14 deliver enhanced performance that makes light work of multitasking, productivity, and entertainment. ZenBook 14 also features ultrafast PCIe® x4 SSDs and the latest Intel WiFi 6 with Gig+ (802.11ax) for superb all-round performance.

For audio, ZenBook 14 uses speakers certified by audio specialists Harman Kardon to ensure immersive, crystal-clear sound for communications or entertainment. It also supports the ASUS SonicMaster stereo audio system with surround sound,

Battery

ASUS Zenbook 14 has a 67 Wh battery and Asus claims up to 22 hours of battery life.

It also supports fast charging that can restore the battery to a 60% charge level in just 49 minutes.

ASUS ZenBook series is one of the best ultrabook series and the ZenBook 14 looks very good with its light and slim design. The ZenBook 13 is more compact and has the same components packed in a smaller body. The ZenBook 14 is just a slightly bigger version of the ZenBook 13.
