The new Asus Vivobook Flip 14 2021 models with the latest AMD Ryzen 5000 Series and Intel 11th Gen processors are available in Nepal. The laptops were brought to Nepal by the official Asus distributor for Nepal, Nagmani International.

Asus Vivobook Flip 14 price in Nepal starts at Rs. 81,111 and goes up to Rs. 1,38,888. It can be bought via Nagmani International’s online store.

The Asus Vivobook Flip 14 2021 is available in two different models in Nepal: TM420 and TP470, each with its own set of configurations. The TM412 and TP401 are not officially available in Nepal yet.

Asus Vivobook Flip 14 2021 Overview

Design

The Asus Vivobook Flip 14 is a lightweight laptop with a 360-degree hinge that allows the screen to be folded back to use as a tablet. Although the lid is made of metal, the chassis’s base is of plastic.

The Intel variant TP470 model is slightly thicker at 18.7mm compared to 18.2mm of the Ryzen TM420 variant, however, the weight of both of the laptop models weigh the same 1.5kg.

Display

It features a 14-inch touch-screen IPS display with a Full HD resolution. The display only has a maximum brightness of 250nits, which is fine for indoor use but may be difficult to use in direct sunlight.

It’s a glossy display and also supports a stylus. For the colours, it only covers 45% of the NTSC colour gamut.

Hardware

The different models of the Asus Vivobook Flip 14 come with different CPUs. The TM420 model is AMD powered laptop whereas the TP470 model is powered by Intel processors.

The TM420 comes with either AMD Ryzen 5 5500U or AMD Ryzen 7 5700U processor. The TP470 comes with an Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor. Laptops with other configurations are currently not available in Nepal.

When it comes to RAM, the Ryzen model (TP420) comes with 4GB or 8GB DDR4 RAM soldered to the motherboard, as well as one SO-DIMM RAM slot for upgradeability (max 16GB), allowing for a dual-channel memory configuration.

The Intel model (TP470), on the other hand, lacks a SO-DIMM slot and only comes with 4GB/8GB/16GB soldered RAM. For the storage, all the models have one M.2 NVMe slot which comes pre-installed with 512GB NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD in Nepal.

Battery and Others

The Asus Vivobook Flip 14 comes with a 42Wh battery and a 65W AC adapter for charging.

For connectivity, the TM420 models come with Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2, whereas the TP470 models come with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.0.
